Awesome, I am just finishing up a diorama of sorts. I started growing crystals of various chemicals a few years back and have become fairly adept at it. I want to add more depth but also some realism to this special project. I Just got done putting a little Krylon stained glass spray paint (red, orange and yellow) and it will be the single application. I took the specimen and wanted to experiment and layered in these same colors earlier then re-immersed it back in the solution. It was hectic with some loss of structure but it finally evened out but I really didn't like the look so I decided to hit ti with a bit more color as it will not be going back in solution. I was thinking about finding a way of adding something to give the appearance of a blooming tree and perhaps some shrubs as well. I think it would make a massive difference if I chose the right medium and color to apply.
