I love how much IKEA you have in your apartment! Their furniture is our aesthetic. Simple, clean lines, and everything doubles as something else. We live in a small house so we have the same sectional. Love it!

Most of the times apartment tours are very high end decorated houses. Watching that videos,will lead us to buy more stuffs and decorate like them. After watching your apartment tour, it helped me to be happy in what i have and stop buying more decor.(my mindset changed).Now im making my space & my mind clutter free and organised. Wow, thanks for the insights! Always thought, you have much less things than me. But now having seen the whole flat I might have less in some areas and more in others, but in total they might be really less. All which does not belong to kitchen or bathroom is stored in my 11sqm room and thus looks more full. Generally love your videos with your calming voice!

I like your new house, but damn, your old apartment really was gorgeous! So peaceful, you have managed to make it feel cozy and spacious at the same time. And while everybody else are all over the Eiffel Tower, my eyes are glued to the mason jars. And lastly, your color coordinated wardrobe(s) is (are) so satisfying!

I love the sofa bed. My husband and I are retiring in a couple of years and I have started decluttering ready to downsize. I have never been a clutterbug and enjoy mainly experiences rather than lots of things. A one-bedroom space will suit us so we can afford to go over to Florida for a month and stay with my Sister every year. Love your place

So beautiful and simple. I love the artworks - you're both so clever! I love the comfy lounge area =) My house is a bit more cluttery, but that's partly because of my three kids. This is the vibe I aspire to, but first I think I need to minimise busyness in my week, to be able to be more mindful in the stuff we store in our home.

Oh wow your apartment is enormous! The kitchen, living room and bathrooms are at least 2-3 times bigger than the house that I and 3 other adults share (tho we each have a bedroom, tho again not as big as your bedroom). This almost makes me feel like I'm a minimalist already because I have to store all my books, clothes, toiletries, craft and art supplies, practical tools and plants just in my own bedroom. It's interesting to me that minimalism is practiced (in Western countries) more by wealthy people, I guess also there's the thing where it's much easier to get rid of things you don't use all the time if you're confident you could afford to repurchase it should the need arise in the future This isn't a criticism in any way btw, your space is lovely (even if I'd personally have more art on the walls). Just put things in perspective for me a bit thinking about what space I have available to me

I’m a lefty also. ☺️ I’ve never head tea described as “fun”. 🙃 My knife block was replaced by a wooden magnetic knife strip years ago. Much cleaner, and opens up the counter top

That’s the right way to start. Eventually, he will get his spark out of your decluttering. And you‘ll be satisfied with decluttering your stuff on your own anyway 😊 I do just the same because my man defends every decluttering action with „that’s sentimental to me“ instead of really dealing with the stuff. So I declutter my stuff and our apartment looks and feels better anyway. He will get to it. So I give him some space.
