minimalist crafting 💐 | DIY lavender sachets

I love crafting, but I find the ethics and how we often craft to not be inline with the idea or philosophy about being crafty or handy. When we're buying DIY crafting kits, we're missing the point of crafting, of learning by doing, making mistakes, having to re-do etc.
If even crafts and DIY are supposed to be as fast-paced as everything else in our modern world, then what are the point of them?
I want my crafts to add value to my life, not just something I give to a second hand shop a few weeks later. I want to learn real skills and trust my intuition. And that's what I discuss in this video, as well as make cute linen lavender bags that I use to protect my clothes against moths and other insects! 💐

Love the sachets. Completely agree too many materials and plastics are used in crafts that people may not really need. We are trying to discourage use of non disposable oasis in flower arranging and replace with organic material. 🤍🤍

Such a lovely sachet! I cannot use lavender as my niece and her mother are highly allergic, and I want them to be able to come visit me without worrying. I personally love the fresh, soothing smell.
