Such an insightful video! Can you do one about how you can stay minimalist when it comes to the children receiving gifts (birthdays, Christmas and other occasions) please? My husband and I were talking about it hypothetically (we have no children yet lol) and were quite dumbfounded by a situation like this. One birthday party alone can bring an influx of uncurated toys and it’s definitely not easy or super nice to tell guests what they can give the child. Will really appreciate your take on it! Keep it up 👍

Marie Jizelle Dela Rosa Thank you! And yes, this is a great idea for a video. I can definitely give some insight since I know this is one of the biggest pain points for people when it comes to minimalism. Thank you so much for the idea 💛

My 5 year old daughter & 2.5 year old son have all 4 of these toys and will spend hours playing together. Lately they’ve been really into the magnatiles. We are very cautious about what toys we bring into the house but we like to splurge on duplos and Legos. My husband still has his Legos that are over 35 years old.

Ruby Haskell wow! Yes Lego’s are such a timeless toy. That’s very cool. And yay! I’m so happy to see someone else’s kids love these too. Our kids also play with these for hours. It’s been such a great investment 💛

Those were the types of toys that were common in the 1950s -- creative, developmental and nontoxic, before the 1960s introduced the toxic highly breakable plastics, and then later everything required batteries GGGRRRRRR.

Thank you so much for this Video! 💜 One of my best friends is pregnant with twins, and I'm looking for high quality minimalistic toys as a gift.

The Ocean for babies I would recommend a simple rattle, natural rubber teether toy or wooden teether toy. Also books with realistic pictures are a great gift as well. 😊💛

Waiting for this new video, hoping I can find same open ended toys here. I got 6 month old, any suggestions? Thank you!

We have a 10 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old. They all play with lego duplo, wooden blocks, balls, play food, wooden cars, schleich animals. And play silks. They all play together. As for baby toys we only have a ring stacker, fabric book, sensory balls. And a stuffy.

@@Katy_living_simply Yes! I agree with all of these. Definitely great recommendations for babies! @eva lewis

Love your videos so much! I've said it before and I'll say it again, HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS ?! Your content is amazing! Your video quality is amazing! You are amazing! ❤️ Also I think it's cool your kids are more drawn to the little people. My kids only play with their animals. I made them peg dolls and they don't touch them. Maybe that just means my kids relate more to wild animals! 🤣

Hahaha! Thank you 💛💛💛 Yes, kids have their own interests I guess, the little animal figures in our family don’t get played with as much. I really appreciate you watching and saying that 🥰
