I have severe back issues. I recently got fired from my FT Job. I feel God wants me home now. Plus my Dr. told me that I need to rest & be careful. My husband is obsessed with money or the lack there of. He’s not a believer and doesn’t understand it’s his role to support our family! He keeps pushing me to go to work. Even though he watches me cry out in pain every day! I know God will provide. Yes money is tight and my unemployment isn’t enough and won’t last forever BUT GOD!! Our 12yr old daughter needs me and I’m finally content staying home with her. My career is no longer important to me. I’m excited to see what God has for me next. I just wish my husband supported me!

Praying for you! Praying your pain leaves in Jesus' name. I am also praying for God to provide the provision needed while you stay home. P.S. I left my FT job back in 2012 to be a SAHM with my first kiddo (now have 7). Long story there - left by faith, but I was stubborn at first because I like (used to like) working a job, but I knew God was calling me to stay home.

Mom of three. Husband was not interested in family or marriage. Left me to raise the family and provide. I would have been thrilled to be a homemaker. My kids had to go to daycare (one at six weeks of age) It makes me sad that I missed a lot.

I agree completely with all of this and am and have been a homemaker/homeschooling mom for 29 years! The greatest blessing!❤ It is so hard to convict the younger generations of the importance and calling to this way of life. The world speaks so loudly and in such opposition to these values. Praying for those young and old alike to be truly convicted by the word and to feel the blessings and joy that come with this lifestyle!❤ Thank you for sharing Heidi!❤

God is responding to my prayer to confirm that is Him speaking to me that I shall surrender fully to The scripture about biblical wife . I am married for 3 year and it was very hard for me to accept the reality of what is truly pleasant to God. But more and more I find this so beautiful and courageous. More than any other career ❤

We can't always have what we want - to be able to stay at home with a husband and children. When a woman finds herself alone for whatever reason, she has to be able to support herself. And that usually means she has to have a career (a profession that one has been trained in) that makes enough money to live and pay bills and oftentimes take care of children as well. This doesn't mean they are living for the world. For some reason people of faith have turned the word "career" into an epithet. I married and had children, was a homemaker and homeschooler and then lost my husband. Because I had not trained in any type of career beforehand, I was left hanging with no way to make enough money to cover all the expenses. It was very poor planning indeed.

so sorry for your loss, however that time you spent at home as a homemaker I'm sure was not a waste. God worked in many ways that you probably don't fully see right now, but there was a deep purpose for it. 💛

Another great video :) Being a homemaker is a great gift to one's family. I am not able to be a traditional "stay at home" homemaker . Due to finance issues, i must work . I don't judge anyone who chooses a career, but a "career " was never for me. I work because it is what I need to do to help out with our expenses. I no longer have any children living at home, so it is just me an my husband (and pup). I work full time, but I do work from home, so it does still allow me to cultivate a beautiful home since I can squeeze things in throughout my work day and have no commute time (other than walking upstairs) . My husband is retired and he does help me with some things (mostly outside stuff) , but I love to grocery shop, cook every meal, do the laundry, and keep the house clean and I love making our home a home my husband loves to live in and come home to . I used to struggle so much with not being able to stay at home, but over the years - especially since working from home, i have been able to make working and homemaking work together, but it can be exhausting sometimes. I look forward to retirement , which is in only 5 years - God willing, when I can become a full time homemaker. Blessings to you and your family.

Love this. I consider myself the CEO of our home. It's just the 2 of us, he works from home while I take care of the home. Because he works from home he is now aware of what goes into home making. We both are thankful that I am home and able to do the things that I do. Unfortunately when my daughter was younger I had to work outside the home, at the time finances required me to work.

I recently found your channel, and I am glad I did. I have always been a Christian… grew up in an evangelical church, got baptized, went through confirmation, memorized Bible versus when I was at Sunday school. I went to different churches as an adult… but was never a consistent member. Now I am 32. This year, in 2023, is the first time I have ever ACTUALLY tried reading the Bible. I always used to start in Genesis… but had a hard time staying engaged. But this year, I started in the New Testament… and wow! I’m learning so much! I’m going to church regularly, and signed up for two Bible study groups. I have felt such a pull to be closer to God this year. I really like learning from you 💜 I really need guidance.

I feel like God is calling me to be more at home... I do have some mental health issues and am currently working full-time at a job im not particularly fond of.. I know things at my workplace have been a bit chaotic and stressful lately and I feel like I would add to that stress by asking to work less days, my husband is on board, im just dreading that next step of telling my employer..

I absolutely love your channel. I've always been a homemaker. There have been times when I really should have worked. Looking over all those years, God brought us through it. Then we started having kids. We homeschooled our kids till they graduated. Now my health isn't the best. I have severe osteoarthritis in my knees. Plus, no cartilage in one knee and very little in the other one. Then I was recently diagnosed with rickets. So now my knees are deformed. I have to use a walker at home. And a use a wheelchair when we go anywhere. But I make yarn puppies to sell to help a little. I really enjoy making them. I also do some surveys. It helps in emergencies. Your channel has been so helpful. Thank you for your ministry. ❤️

Thank you for sharing this. I have been struggling with this for so long. My husband said. " Dear you are of more help to me at home with our children than you could ever be anywhere else." This just furthers his opinion of where God wants us both to be. He doesn't mind if I work or stay home as long as I am doing what God tells me to. However he prefer me at home because he believes that Godly thinking women are few and far in between in our modern society. I believe he is right. I am truly thankful that God has allowed this opportunity for me. I am blessed. I am not just blessed in family but to be able to see and hear you through KZbin. I cried during half of this video because God is using you to work miracles and change hearts right here in my very own home. God bless you. Thank you friend.
