@@MrAknur no latency when you plug the usbc cable in, there is slight latency if you try to game with Bluetooth, but it’s not too noticeable. I still wouldn’t recommend doing that thi

@@MrAknur it all kind of depends on you to be honest. 170 is pretty expensive, but it was worth it to me. there are a bunch of good options, but i don't know many with a high quality aluminum case like this unless you make your own. They have a $100 version of this keyboard thats the same except for it having a plastic case.

For those of you that encounter the pairing code issue. Download the software first (using the latest version) then reset everything and apply it. This allows the bluetooth to work once more. Use the download link in the manual brochure that comes in the box (the chinese website) - it has the latest driver version.

Hey minimalistik, All the aluminum variants of the GK68XS don't have a color option on the indiegogo website. Am I missing something or is this a really weird mistake by epomaker?

Hi! Great review. I buy one and they Epomaker send me the new version of this Keyboard. It's amazing and they put a different (in my opinion better ) layout. Unfortnelly I think the battery it's low mah. Do you know how Voltage from this battery? I thnk it' s 3.7V right?

If I dont, does it mean my money goes into donation? Or will I get full refund? Also the plastic case color is not given so if I choose pink keycaps will it by default ensure white case ? I know you said for the plate the sound is lower pitch than aluminum and that you're not a fan of the look but how is the typing experience in your opinion for fiber glass vs aluminum or brass plate? I'm getting a gk64 and the only plate they had was this same material, so I'm worried lol

I have never tried a brass plate (yet), but I don't feel like it really affects the typing experience. If anything, I'm getting less "case ping" and it sounds better. My only complaint is regarding how it looks, but otherwise it's alright 🙃

I don't know 😕 I don't expect the price to change that much after launch as other similar keyboards like the GK73, GK64XS and GK61XS are priced accordingly based on what they offer or not compared to this GK68XS.

@@mik0craft Unfortunately, I couldn't decide and finally I bought KBD 67 Lite and build it by myself. It is lacking bluetooth, but everything else is like I wanted.

Coolgamer Fhfh As far as I know, official prizes have still not been revealed as this is a brand new keyboard. I even checked with retailers in China and they don’t have the prizes either, even though they usually they these keyboards months beforehand. For now $179 is the only prize available.

Several red flags for this board. 1) south facing led means you are flipping the switch this part north or down meaning you can only use oem highs or higher keycaps if you use lower profile caps the homerow caps will bump against the switches before they bottom out. I don’t mind that as I have 2 tada68 boards that have the same problem so I bought 2 sets of oem caps. 2) problem is no gmk that’s self explanatory 3) really really awful typing sound. Even the budget high profile tada68 sounds way way better. Overall not worth it IMO

Nice keyboard , but, in my case at least, I could'n use the split spacebar for gaming because on my current HyperX Alloy fps RBG I keep my 'jump' thumb right between the V and B keys. And this 'space split' is right there. For texting is perfect but for gaming people must check how they keep their thumb on the spacebar. Otherwise they might regret the purchase. That being said if anyone keeps their thumb between C and V or a bit further , B and N than this could be a good use of a short 'jump' space bar. The jumps will get more precise. I know this because I had some years ago a mod for a keyboard , a short spacebar, but that keyboard had three switches for the spacebar and I used the left and the middle switch for that mod . Of course the keyboard looked weird but it did improved my jumps in games.

Oh interesting! At least you can have both a full width spacebar and split spacebar with this one 😅 You could definitely use those 2 spacebars for different in game controls, that'd be great indeed!

@@minimalistik I rewatched your sk61 review about 10 times trying to decide. Epomaker seems to have a better software than kemove. I have helios switches laying around but sk61 is optical so its a toss up between kemove and epomaker

@@minimalistik i saw a review about the same alu case design with 60% layout but it is not a perfectly a high profile case(from aliexpress). i saw there are a millimetre gap between the case and keycaps. unlike this Gk68xs, all the keys switch seen perfectly hidden. i hope my eye was not wrong. Really hope you can review that gk64xs with alu case😅

The main difference will be the layout. Other than that, the Anne Pro 2 doesn't have hot-swappable switch sockets, that is quite limiting. However, the Anne Pro 2's software is more polished, and works on Linux/Mac/Windows, while the GK software is Windows only. Really depends on what you're looking for, but I think they are both great keyboards 😄
