Thanks for posting. I am here because my Minimax NT does not fire up and my pool guy tells me his repairman is booked out for 3 weeks. I found the fan switch hose was broken off one end, repaired that but no difference. I also replaced the capacitor which was very corroded without success. I tested the ignitor, low and high temp sensors for continuity and there is power reaching the fan, but it does not start up, the blades do move freely by hand. This is my first time testing and working with my furnace, so not sure what to try next, I would appreciate any recommendations.

Sounds like your blower needs to be replaced. They aren't very cheap or easy to find any more. These heaters are so old I think putting significant money in to them is a waste of money. Eventually the heat exchanger will be too corroded and the heater will need to be replaced.

@@sethrauscher4106 Thank you, I might be denial about the ultimate outcome. I did neglect to mention that the display reads "HI" which I did not know or associate with an error message. I randomly found mention of it in a listing for a thermistor probe, so hopefully that will resolve things, I noticed you replaced the same part in your video.

Hi there, first off appreciate the insights. Very helpful. quick question - does display not working mean a bad board all the time? I have the same unit. She turned on, it kicks on but then does not fire. The board does not display anything.

Yes start with replacing the display board and then you may end up replacing more bad sensors down the line

Sorry didn't see your comment until now but the temp sensor I believe is what you were referring to. Or the pressure switch

Have the same unit but getting no power. Should i start with the power switch

Yes try the switch but test voltage coming into the unit. If you have proper voltage and switch doesn't turn on it's most likely the board.
