Love your videos! Your honesty makes me laugh sometimes because it is true....which is great. Do you find yourself wanting to buy new things often or are you able to stick with the minimalist mindset and not buy more things? I just think it’s very… unique for Americans to have shoes inside the house. That would be so disrespectful here in Sweden to go inside someone’s home in shoes and I could never wear shoes inside my house. Shoes belong outside. 😅

wow!! that’s so interesting to hear about what’s important to other peoples cultures. i can totally see why wearing shoes would be disrespectful, but at least for me, as long as you’re not tracking a whole bunch of dirt in my house, i don’t really care 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭♥️

I have absolutely no arches and have worn prescription orthotic inserts for the past 29 years (since I was 20). I cannot go any length of time without shoes! If I am just going to someone's house for dinner, I can deal with the pain of just being in socks. But longer than that I have to be wearing shoes. I do have shoes that have never been outside so at least I am not tracking in dirt!

I can't speak for everyone here in Canada, but it's the same thing here. I would never dream of visiting someones home and not taking my shoes off at the door, and same goes for my own home, shoes come off at the door, and we don't wear them throughout the house. Thinking about the amount of germs on our shoes makes me feel ick about wearing them in our home, but I feel like socks or slippers are so much more comfortable anyway. 👌In terms of workout shoes, if they're clean and have never been worn outside, then I don't mind wearing those indoors.

You made my OCD twinge massively when you didn't straighten up the sheets on your mattress before covering with the duvet. Yikes! I can't stand wrinkled sheets. Oh my brain. Lol. Sorry. That's my issue, not yours. 😅
