Decluttering, being more intentional about the items we buy and choosing to own less overall, can transform our lives, reduce stress and anxiety, while saving us time, energy and money.

I, too, will go back to your first few declutter videos. The best part of them is your inner dialogue that you shared with us. You were frustrated then disgusted by all that you “collected”! For the colder season, I had only black pants and jeans. I finally got some tan pants I'd wanted. I then divided my fall/winter stuff into stuff that wd go better with tan and things that wd def' go best with black. I have 2 very narrow closets, so now I can 'closet shop' in 2 dif spots. It's made things so much easier!

I was in my early twenties in college and drowning in stuff. My family would make me feel so guilty for letting things go even if they had no use of anything I no longer wanted. I saw your decluttering videos, the “Less Stuff, Less Stress” series, and everything just clicked. I let go of most of my stuff and only kept what I loved, and I’m so thankful. My husband and I are more minimal and intentional with our belongings, and it’s made the biggest difference in terms of moving apartments, cleaning, and even what we purchase. I know this is a dramatic comment, but I am so thankful for your content and advice, and you inspired me to go vegetarian and cruelty free as well. Thank you for being you!

I love how you have an all year around closet, I'm over seeing seasonal small closets that would actually be hugely full of similar stuff if all stored in one space there could be 10 similar black T-shirts like 3 for summer 3 for spring 2 for winter 2 for fall and realistically it could be cut by half if not more.

My first declutter round was huge. My 2e was big and the next ones are still bigger then I expect. If I knew when I was younger I defenetly would made sure I had a lot less items. Not nesesairly clothes but just stuff and sentimental items.

Thank you for this video. Best declutter video I have seen in a long time. I get demotivated early in my closet challenge and I just realized it is decision fatigue. T Early today I declutter my bags and although I eliminated some it still felt overwhelming. Now I know is because I did not really have tangible step. Did I use this bag in last year? Simple but brilliant. I was asking do I love it? Of course I love them. I bought them. They are beautiful. But i don’t use them. Some over 2 or more years. Some never used them because they are not practical. Mentally I was going through them in my head as you spoke and I surely I can go back and eliminate at least half of them. Will do that first thing tomorrow…follow your process.

Haha so many I thought "no that's cute keep it or give it a try". Thought that bright minty top would look great with white pants or shorts too. Personally, I keep old stuff that have some small holes just to wear around the house, for PJs, or for cleaning. I get attached and can't just toss quickly without thinking lol.

I am always interested in your declutter Videos. Even this is far far faaaar away from my own Lifestyle. I Keep stuff in forever with choice. I know i 5 Years this Thing will be back in style or fit me sizewise better... i my climate we go from really cold to freaking hot and everything in between and you never know if you wear Thick sweater for 6 month or light sweater for 8 month 😄 i have around 50 sweaters and "need" them all 😄

Hi J.C. Currently the only clothes I own are what's in this video. No skirts, dresses, jeans (except for jean shorts) at the moment. I wear shorts usually during the warm Spring, Summer and Fall seasons here, then leggings for Winter.
