Hi Chris I am needing to ask a question about setting the CG point for a KA6e . I cannot find any information or plan that specifies where it should be. I have set mine to just forward of the spar but think it needs to be further forward than this. Do you have any experience with this model or could you suggest a position based on your experience with flying these larger gliders? thanks Allen

As there's no sweep forward or back, a good starting point should be 25% of the root chord, then move it back to suit after the maiden flight

Hi Chris I have set the CG just forward of 25% and it seems about right. It has confirmed my thoughts on this plane. It is the only one I own that has deviated from the 33% mark. Appreciate your assistance on this, all the best Allen

Hallo Chris, yet another beautiful model. I have a couple of questions though. What camera are you using for in flight and how do you fix it to the wing? Also I'm curious how you finish your models. Regards Joerg

Joerg, the camera is a Mobius with the wide lens mounted on a wooden platform, strapped to the wings. These days I cover my flying surfaces with HK film, Solartex the fuselage and paint to match with 2K automotive paints
