I believe we continue to miss the target on our arguments on minimum wage for Nigerian workers if our only consideration is ability to pay! I beg to defer. A consideration that should be given adequate attention in the argument should be a wage that actually satisfy the basic needs of an average Nigerian worker without necessarily being corrupt or corruptible. In other words, a living wage.

Mr fayemi, u've disappointed me dis night by saying u as a one time d chairman governor's forum, u're saying u didn't know if some governors are diverting LG allocation funds? Why then were u chairing d chairman governor's forum? Let me tell u now, majority of Nigeria governors are still diverting d local government funds from FAAC uptil now. If u don't know, am telling u now, I know dt of Kogi state under former governor Yahaya Bello's 8 years administration. Either u & ur colleagues like it or not, local government financial autonomy must come to stay in Nigeria. Enough is Enough for d diversion of local government funds.
