So, on the DID topic. The alter (the term most people refer to the different identities to, as personality doesn’t really fit; they’re their own person) being of a celebrity is called a Factive. A Factive is basically an alter based on a real person, sometimes they know they aren’t that person, other times they think they are. DID is a disorder caused by repeated childhood trauma or severe stress, and forms around the ages of 6-9. The alters form to cope with the trauma or stress, sometimes based off a real person (Factive), a fictional character (Fictive), or just not being based off of those and being what the child believes they need.

I find it easy to get iron just by looking for diamonds on y11. I get 2 to 3 stacks of iron per attempt plus more coal then I can carry. I never use farms. If I got time to build a iron farm in survival using boats and rails for villagers then I got time to mine and fight for my supplies and keeps my skills up.

DID is an extreme form of trauma reaction wherein a young child's personality actually splits parts of itself off to protect most of itself from repetitive, horrific abuse. It is unusual, and prolonged therapy can convince the various personality aspects that it is safe to reintegrate. When one personality comes out, the others "black out" and have no memory of it-- initially (before therapy), the various personalities are unaware of eachother.

There is also OSDD1-b (and 1-a). “fusion integration” is not always the answer for some systems, there’s a thing called healthy multiplicity! I also mention OSDD1-b because it’s “like a subform of DID” along with OSDD1-a, where 1-b has a lack of amnesia ‘blackouts’ between alters, so we don’t really ‘lose’ memory but mor of have vague summaries are ‘greyouts’! That’s why it’s tricky, for a lot of OSDD1-b systems to even realize they’re a system because it’s hard to catch and there’s no obvious jump in memories. Actually, it’s case by case how much a system is unaware of each other, some are aware of each member and some are not. Though it IS common for the ‘host/core’ not to be aware- but it’s common based from experience, for for the ‘hidden’ system members to be aware of each other.

The best method I found is to build a stairway down to level 8 (on console bedrock) and start digging a tunnel 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks tall. Place torches every 4 blocks on the left side so no monsters spawn (Keep torches on the left so that left means deeper and right means returning to the stairway). On the left and right sides of your tunnel, dig branches 2 blocks wide by 45 blocks deep every 2 blocks. After digging all ore out of a branch, seal it by placing 2 stone blocks along the ground so you can see inside but no monsters can enter your main tunnel from dark spots. I’ve used this method to create a tunnel complex around my whole world. I’ve installed rails that allow fast travel to new sites. When you find lava, try to dig above it, then dig back down to level 8 to stay below caves. You can also dig under lava, but only if it doesn’t extend down to bedrock. Certain regions of the world have worse lava than others. The efficiency of this method returns app. 30-50 iron, 10-20 coal, 3-10 diamonds/gold, 1-2 lapis, and 50-100 redstone every 10 branches. Make sure you have a source of renewable wood and food before starting this form of mining, since you will use a bunch of pickaxes and stamina. I recommend having only one entrance, so that torches always guide back to that one entrance. I also build underground bases every 20 branches that contain a bed and crafting table. By now I have hundreds of blocks of all ore except netherite.
@666rivers
@666rivers Жыл бұрын
I do the same thing, assuming your branching off the main 4x4 tunnel every 2 blocks consists of tunnels two blocks high by one block wide, which allows you to space out the torches further. If you hollow out any big cavities due to gravel or coal or dirt/sand just light them, rebuilding the projection of the floor of the original tunnel spanning the cavity with spare blocks before pushing onward. Dig four top blocks in and then four bottom blocks back out by starting back towards you for the fifth, ending with the eighth next to your feet until you hit lava, at which point instead of blocking it I leave it as a backlight and back out and start the next tunnel two blocks over off the main 4x4 tunnel, which runs parallel to the lowest flight of stairs to the surface. Once you have placed a chest and crafting table and dug a half-dozen or so branches, you can extend the tunnels across the 4x4 tunnel once you've cleared the stairs. If you are in a diamond-rich area, you can use the stairs to figure out how to build a new series of tunnels offset by upwards two blocks and to the left or right by one block, so that one bottom corner block of a y=9 tunnel is an upper-left block of a y=7 tunnel, and its floor block is an upper right block of the next y=7 tunnel over. That way you get a look at every single block of the region between y=7 and y=12 except for the y=9 tunnel's upper left- and right-hand corner blocks and the y=7 lower left- and right-hand corner blocks. Of course, the y-numbers will need to be offset to match the current peak diamond level concentration, since the lowering of the bedrock update. It seems that diamonds appear with more of a concentration as you get closer to the low lava, so if your branches start getting shorter they will yield roughly the same number of diamonds, so if you dig the 4x4 tunnel in both directions until you hit lava and then start branching off both sides of the closest lava (with a stack of blocks handy for plugging any non-end lava or water leaks) end of the 4x4 tunnel, pick the side that has the shorter branch tunnels to work your way back towards the stairs. I learned this after cutting many exceedingly long tunnels that never hit lava and finding almost no diamonds, so it is wisdom earned from long tedious effort, or perhaps superstition from driving myself a bit nutty from the tedium. I suspect there is a certain probability of finding diamonds per level up to a certain number per 16 x 16 square, so if 1/2 to 2/3 of that square is lava the cap may never be met, leading to the possibility of there being seemingly more diamonds in the remaining 1/2 to 1/3 of the square, but that's just my theory- a Minecraft theory: YMMV... Of course, the same logic applies to low-water caves, and/or any cave at all, for that matter, assuming it is at least 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the given square you are working in.

I'm so late to this but like I watched it through and the most intriguing conversation was the one about DID. and I really wish i was there. while i'm not diagnosed with it, I believe i have it, and i have a general amount of knowledge on it, and how it works. I would say that it's not possible to "fix" a DID person. it is possible to merge all personalities which is called in the community, Final Fusion. it's a very touchy topic for some people with DID. the thing is that a lot of the time people don't want the fusion. because they can't see themselves ever being a single person. Again, I really appreciate the genuine curiosity about the disorder. It's good to see it coming to light and more people trying to understand.

Off topic but I tamed 3 stray cats and didn't know cats don't swim, so I went over 500 blocks before I realized they were still back where I tamed them. So, I gathered 8 stacks of wooden planks and literally made a bridge from them to my home island. I get them home finally and notice one was missing. I basically went into full panic mode and searched for literally over an hour to no avail. I eventually gave up and collected some flowers to dye the collars on the remaining 2 cats. I go to use one of my chests but it wouldn't open, then I notice the cat that I was missing was just sitting on top of the chest. Mother fricker literally blended into the cobblestone and I actually teared up when I saw it was him 😂

1:39:00 Lawyers aren’t oversupplied. State appointed lawyers are chronically under supplied. It’s the private firm lawyers that are in excess, because the government doesn’t want to pay lawyers a decent wage when a private firm can pay them 4x as much. This is one of the HUGE problems that make the US judicial system so notably TERRIBLE.
@cownameded6635
@cownameded6635 4 жыл бұрын
To clarify, state appointed lawyers work with those that can’t afford a private attorney. In many states, state appointed lawyers often get less than an hour to review their ‘clients’ case before a hearing. That’s not near enough time to prepare for a decision that will affect the rest of a persons life. These lawyers are so overworked and underpaid that they just don’t care about the people they have to represent.
@cownameded6635
@cownameded6635 4 жыл бұрын
The biggest and easiest fix would just be for the government to pay state appointed lawyers more, allowing more people to justify that as a career path and lowering the workload on the people already working in that field. But then that could cause a tax increase and anger the general public which would be a completely different subset of problems

Iron farms don't need redstone.. They're a platform with water flowing towards the centre taking the golems to the centre to die on magma blocks and the Iron ingots get taken through them by a railcart with hopper and pass through a few more hoppers to be collected in the chests below them.. The goloms spawn 3 every few minutes ! ..because you set up beds for villagers just below the platform centre and the villagers are under the platform in pods near the edge of the farm.. Absolutely no redstone involved.. Yep I built one with trade hall.. so much lava everywhere I tried to mine..one less thing to worry about.. Kelp farm however does need redstone and I have that too to grow alternative to coal fuel ect..

So it's kinda nice hearing a singlet talk about their perspective on this disorder. Also, with the person who had a celebrity as one of their alters, they're called a factive, a real person in real life, but is an alter in a system. 9/10 they will know they aren't that actual person. If they don't, it won't take them long to figure out. We have a Bo Burnham alter and a Joe Hawley alter, but they both know they aren't the actual person. There's also fictives, fintional alters from a cartoon, show, series, etc. Thank you for bringing light to this disorder! :DD - The Archive System

For example, me and my friends have a realm in which every year we reset and start a new "season". This one friend I play with is the exact opposite. He hates manual farms, and loves automatic farms. He is the ONLY reason I made automatic farms last "season" because I am very competitive. He made an afk fish farm on day 1, and I didn't want to be the second person to get god armor, so I made one too. He made a creeper farm and I didn't want to be the one with no gunpowder so I made one too etc. We just started a new "season" about 2 weeks ago and so far I have no automatic farms. What's even stranger is I actually have more stuff than he does, because he spent most of his time making farms where I just went mining. He only has one god set of armor, while I have 3 god sets, including every tool.

I don’t have an iron farm, but I have an underground village and since my floor is made of half slabs the iron golems spawn halfway underground so they can’t hit back when I kill them. Actually now that I think about it, it kind of is an iron farm except it’s not automatic. Except when the golems spawn in the walls and suffocate to death

For me the several/seven connection doesn't mean that several necessarily = seven, rather that for something to be several there has to be about seven of them. So 6, 7, or 8 things could all reasonably be called several. For me five is also the cutoff point, I would say it's sort of a glass half empty or half full sort of thing. If you're a pessimist you'll say that five is a few and if you're an optimist you'll say it's several.

Sorry I didn't come up with this yesterday, but several is a decent amount, a few is less than what you hoped for/what you think feels like enough. That's why the definition varies so much from person to person and that's why the definitions are so vague.

LOL, love to see you work but.... if you are mining one can only grab the ores just once. So it is quicker, but killing golems is free resource that will spawn again and again. (If you do it right, the one I built only spawns golems outside the killzone / ugh!. So I am also mining, not because I really want to :P) SO...your way is initially faster, but is it also more profitable in a month or so?
