11:55 this kinda goes with the point the mathematician was making with human brains struggling with probability-- it'd be 100% chance (almost) of someone sharing a birthday with someone else at that party, but whether they share a birthday with *you* the probability likely heavily depends on the day itself. With the probability of anyone in a group sharing a birthday, the reason there's exponential growth is that you're taking a "1/365 chance" (depending on the day of course as mentioned in the video) and comparing it against the 2nd person's chance, and then when a 3rd person gets added suddenly that's 3 comparisons instead of 1, and then 6, and then 10, etc etc. With one individual person's birthday it's all just individual comparisons, so instead of that exponential growth, it'd just be 1 for a 2nd person, 2 for a 3rd, 3 for a 4th, etc etc.
