Still watching this in 2021, remembering Lee Kuan Yew has become sort of a habit as I age, every now and then I feel either obsessed or inspired to recall and exchange memories of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and His lifelong anecdotes, and I feel enriched whenever I learn something new that I might not have known. For instance, I didn't get to watch this eulogy by Minister Ng Eng Hen in 2015, it took me six years to come across it and I thoroughly enjoyed the sharing by Minister Ng. Thank You good Sir.

Thank you Dr Ng. The best tribute I've heard - towering, humble, profound and fitting as the man himself. I once walked along Marina bay at Clifford pier in the evening, and had a chance to see Mr Lee strolling, looking over the bay. I wanted to approach him and shake his hand, but thought it might be more fitting to let him be with himself and his thoughts. Through the many sharing of late, I now know what the sight of Marina Bay means to him. I grew up along the river, fished, swam, dived off its bridges and went about the bay in our boat. I'm proud he turned it into an oasis of sustenance for all of us. I hope Mr Lee's core message will continue to be etched in our hearts for many generations to come - Majulah Singapura!

Great tribute Minister Ng. Poignant, real and reflect the thoughts of the nation. Heartbreaking at times. Especially when one notices and sees how SMS Josephine Teo was fighting so hard to not cry. But she lost it, when Minister Ng spoke about Mr Lee love for Mrs Lee...

Mr Lee was a super hero both in strength and vision. Without him SG would not be able to achieve worldwide standard being a small nation. I have to say he was a man of principles. I could meet him in person but I met him in my dream after he passed away. He came with his bodyguards to my house at 360 Thomson Road - already pulled down.

I am sure all Singaporeans will agree with my suggestion that the last seat that our founding Father of Singapore sat in Parliament House chambers be reupholstered in white and be left unoccupied for perpetuity. No one can ever fill that seat. No one. Let all who gather in future meetings be conscious of that seat before they speak and decide on matters affecting the future of Singapore. Mr Lee Kuan Yew may be gone but his spirit will be with us forever.

A Tribute To Our Founding Father Mr Lee Kuan Yew. 1923- 23 March 2015. Never in the modern era of human endeavour, have so many owed so much to one man, who cared neither for gold, glory, honour, not even self, but for others, devoting wholeheartedly to their welfare and the betterment of his budding nation, transforming it from third world to first in one monumental stride- a reality out of impossibility, a feat unparalleled, a miracle regarded by many. To even say you were a man in a million, holds no justice. Aptly put, you were simply from out of this world. Rest in eternal peace Mr Lee, my hero. Patriot.
