About te reo, te Tiriti the disadvantaged, the disabled, renters, low paid workers, the lives of children going in and out of school, smokers who generally want to quit smoking, Gang members Police, Teachers, Young people needing guidanc& support and tupuna. Maori ancestors did NOT cede sovereignty AND HE KNOWS THAT. He doesn't have the guts to say so. Why? Because he is crawling up Luxon. I am in Hamilton West. He is showing an ignorant attitude towards Maori like he doesn't give a toss about Maori and their rights including land being stolen while one owner is walking the street homeless in Gisborne. He dodges Julian's question about Sovereignty because he knows Maori didn't cede Sovereignty. Simple as that. He doesn't represent Maori very well because of the Party he is in.

Why should the Maori want to be taken care of if they do not accept that they ceded their sovereignty to the Queen . If this did not happen they would have decimated themselves and that was what they were afraid of . Even the confiscations later was due to not obeying the law and this was the return for not keeping their side of the agreement . Some of us can see through all this BS.
