The classic two-part broadcast featuring the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan on The Phil Donahue Show. Farrakhan takes on all comers as he explains to middle America the nature of institutionalized racism and the need for reparations. Look for Reverend Al Sharpton and FOI's Khalid Muhammad during the second half. Shared for historical purposes. I do not own the rights.

I know right??? Then they say they've been sneered at and looked at badly, while they were the ones booing him and throwing their arms against him, talking while he was talking, not giving him the time of day while trying to explain himself. But at least Farrakhan was clear, bold, patient,intelligent and respectful, the point arrived home even if they didn't wanna hear him.

Those are buzzwords: Fear, Afraid, Scared. All of them shared a similar sentiment which says to me they are conditioned to have a heightened fear of blacks that’s equally unsubstantiated and ridiculous! This entire video all I witnessed was social programming; Whites are programmed to think and act in certain ways and blacks are programmed to think and act in certain ways. I’D BET MONEY that the white guy who referred to the black audience members as puppets would not have said it if he could turn back the hands of time. He couldn’t even rationalize his own actions, probably couldn’t even understand he said it, he was clearly being influenced by the pervasive mob mentality introduced by the arrogance of white audience members.

All the time and events conveniently left out of history to fit ones narrative. Slavery is hell on earth at the least but it's been for thousands of years still happening right now today, I wonder why so many treated so bad stayed you would think you would want to get as far away from here as possible. This l believe plays the biggest assault on inequality, you burnt the hand of the Republican party and threw away all the power you needed to control your destiny and not just once it has been a habit, you running back to the people who enslaved you and still doing it today. The democratic party has been chaos and destruction from the beginning and are largely responsible for the current BS today peace or war are the choices. 🇺🇸✌

Dan Moore stop pretending the Democratic Party hasn’t evolved, historically Both parties have neglected racial equality, any person who believes they still hold the same values today as they did since existence is uneducated and a victim of propaganda. The only difference NOW is the Republican Party wants to just move on without acknowledging the damages caused by history, and democrats want to repair those damages. Neither of those parties are selfless, they are both on some level filled with power hungry soulless people who cater to their base to maintain power.

He’s a huge anti Semite. You can be upstanding on issues, clearly as he was for the civil rights movement, while being ignorant/hateful in others. Taking one video as the full context of a man is usually not realistic. As recently as 2018, he had his twitter revoked for retweeting an anti Semitic speech and calling Jewish people “satanic”. In the 1980s he praised Hitler and said he was good for Germany. He wrote a book in the 1990s where he blamed the trans Atlantic slave trade on solely on Jewish people, even as historians pointed out his book was in contrast to evidence that Jewish participation in the slave trade was minimal to nonexistent. The NOI has been denounced by Jewish organizations/the community at large as being anti Semitic.

@b-head6961

Melissa Mari Just because your ancestors weren’t in America doesn’t mean they didn’t have slaves or weren’t prejudice so that argument is kinda dumb. It’s not about what you feel which is something a lot of white ppl like to do during all this, “us, we” it’s not about y’all so stop making it about y’all. I know damn well what I seen when i see other white folk standing up for black ppl calling out other white ppl for their racist ways. I stand with white ppl that stand with me. Always think it’s so funny how defensive some white ppl get when we’re talking about them in a way they don’t like but are so surprised at how we react to all the history in this country. It doesn’t matter to us. Either you’re with us or you’re against us. We would’ve burned this country to the ground back then if the govt wasn’t systematically racist with a majority white population. Whites ruined every ppl, Killed the Natives took their land, Enslaved and killed black ppl in a “freedom” country, Asians discriminated against and put in Internment camps, now Hispanics with these Ice agencies and putting children in cages. This video was made in 1990 and I was generally commenting how the white crowd was reacting to everything that was said. Now...the 1900s were not that long ago. Civil rights, weren’t that long ago. Tell me why so many white ppl quote MLK but most white ppl hated him during his time...I understand my prejudices. It’s not towards all white ppl. I show anyone respect until they give me a reason not to. Merely stating that white guilt is indeed a thing and that without a doubt a lot of ppl felt if black ppl came to power SOMEHOW in this country, we would indeed Terrorize white folk. But all black ppl have wanted was peace with white folk.
@lucyadams5739
@lucyadams5739 4 жыл бұрын

@b-head6961 4 жыл бұрын
Melissa Mari listen. The only thing I can say for you is all whites not racist. But Racism hasn’t magically gone away...never will...until that day..it’s gonna be a White man killed a black man or vice versa. Will never hate anyone just for being white. Black ppl have wanted peace and unity for so long that at this point that honestly America doesn’t deserve it. Blame your ancestors. I don’t care. You can either stand with Black people when it comes to equality and justice or stand in the way as far as I’m concerned. I don’t have any passion for any ppl who try to downplay the events in the past as well as recently. Civil rights movement was not that long ago and MLK was hated by most white Americans. Then he was assassinated...like I said, Blame ya ancestors. We can’t possibly be united right now in a country with I believe over 100 hate groups...

Anti-LGBTQ+ bigotry is a regular feature of the conspiratorial claims about depopulation plots and the emasculation of Black men, with Farrakhan and other NOI figures proclaiming that people are not born gay, but are chemically manipulated by the government and influenced by portrayals of LGBTQ+ people in Jewish-owned media. The Nation of Islam opposes racial integration and advocates for the creation of a separate nation for Black people. Anti-white doctrines are incorporated into NOI ideology. Unlike many civil rights activists who critique whiteness with regard to power structures and systemic racism, the NOI engages in the demonization of and conspiracy theories about the biological nature of all white people, portraying white people as satanic, sub-human, and inherently inferior to Black people.

@John B Only once will I say this.... you're dumb as all hell, getting off to posting petty comments that address nothing and exposes how evil you and and anyone who agrees with you truly is. I may not agree with everything said here, but your impulsive need to lash out in every comment section indicates a foolishness beyond repair, and a churlishness that only serves to expose the hideousness of actual racism. No matter how much you point your fingers at another. A special fire in hell is stoked for your kind, lest you change. And I thoroughly doubt you'd care for the latter option.

I can't thank you enough for posting the entire interview and his appearance on the show. My mind is blown and my chest has swollen with pride and righteous indignation! I will be listening to this over and over and over again. There were so many white Karen's back in the day that spoke up on this show that made my blood boil but the way he shut them all down made me as proud as can be. And particularly the part at the end when he has them all Stuck on Stupid when he was telling them that they essentially came from a black woman! I literally screamed out loud in my living room and jumped up and down! So again thank you very much for posting this. All I have to say is give me more more more!

Doesn't that say a lot? I'm white-- and love the Honorable Minister Farrakhan because I have seen the turn around in friends of mine that were doomed to keep repeating entering the prison system, people on drugs, people with no hope-- live better and do better because of this man. His message may not be for me, but that is okay-- but I see all the good he's done for others and love him for it. The fact all these women act like hissing snakes and calling him violent, while he sits there with a beautiful smile, glowing and polite... is an embarrassment and they are disgusting. You know it's really bad when I sit here understand why Farrakhan wants to separate. The fact all these women are calling him "violent" are the same women locking men up that really aren't thinking about them. They make up stuff because they're mad. The truth is the truth- but hate don't care about it. Smh
