If you go back that around that same year there were all those doom/sludge metal type bands coming out like acid bath. Ministry fit right in. At first i was a little disappointed into their direction from pslam69 as its so different, but after a few listens it grew on me. Many years later i think it was their 2nd best of the 90's. The focus on the distorted bassy rythms for a large chunk of this album from Paul rather than the guitars gives a very cool feel. That cover of lay lady lay i loved i thought was brilliant. Including elements like the harmonica were awesome.
