You know nuclear energy is necessary in order to significantly reduce our carbon emissions, right? It's one of the cleanest forms of energy.

@@maggot1917 Energy is plentiful. Solar energy beamed to Earth is probably safest for the long run of a technological civilization. The final image is of the planet seen from space. Nuclear is a transition source of energy, as are the carbon sources. After two hundred years we can calibrate a measured shift from the carbons to solar, as the ultimate source of cheap and safe electrical energy. Panic and closedown of technological civilization won't reverse climate change. That's for sure.
