Saw Ministry in '86 in Providence. I remember people yelling out for "Revenge". Al started spitting into the audience. Not cool, but overall the concert was great.

So he was already hating What came off of his Arista album aka With Sympathy by the time Twitch tour started in ‘86. But I’m not surprised to hear that.

Thanks for posting! This is one of the very few live VIDEOS of Ministry Twitch tour that I have seen on You Tube as of now. The audio of Ministry Twitch tour has started to appear more frequently now but there is very little video of it so far. Wish I would have made it to Medusa's back then ! ( I was 16, living in Chicago back then)

One of Ministry's best tunes ever IMO. Very cool video. Thanks for sharing it. Wow, it looks like Paul Barker on bass. I never realized he was around this early until reading Al's book. This would have been right when Twitch was released, maybe a record release party? Looks like Al has short, bleached blonde hair. This was Ministry's best period as far as I'm concerned. LORAH is a close tie with Twitch as MINISTRY'S best LP, but it was a slide downward from Mind onwards. Al makes much better music when his anger is subdued and brooding (and he is androgynous) rather than full on with the metal guitars and macho dick waving. I'm one of the people who love With Sympathy and even moreso Al's early Wax Trax records (Cold Life, Halloween). The Twitch music and aesthetic sit firmly between synthpop Ministry and stuff like Flashback, Theives, You Know What You Are, etc.

Brendon Webster Agreed, I still liked The Mind album very much also. But after that most of Ministry’s material sounds dull to me except for just one fix and NWO. Their eventual stylistic shift from electronic based Industrial and New Wave to a scruffy hard rock/metal sound makes this an apples to oranges comparison regarding Ministry’s sound.

Sounds like crap, tbh. Still interesting to see them around this time. Good thing the album version sounds much better.
