The first two albums, With Sympathy and Twitch, and the surrounding singles and 12' were my favorite period. Saw Ministry on the Twitch tour; great wild show.

This was a great performance on their part. What an old school cool and awesome quality video. Seems like a different lifetime entirely for Ministry. Cool to see Al and Patty on stage and Al lookin' like he's having a great time lol

This song has always been a banger. The 12" version especially. The base and rhythm guitar are funky as hell.

Early on indicator of the path to follow. This is a gem. Love how this guy pays homage to 80's band of the time. Talent knows no boundaries!!!

AJtheory Quite true... I'm thinking that perhaps Alvadido is a bit confused... besides what you pointed out... and unless I'm misinterpreting the first sentence... it seems to imply that Ministry didn't have the extreme changes in their musical style from this first album ... basically just honed their craft ... most of us know that they became the antithesis of this first album ... and quite quickly... and rinsed and repeated many times.

My favorite era of Ministry is all Ministry. Nobody else did so many. Al the Great.

Holy shit! I think I was at this show. I believe Front 242 and Red were the supporting bands. It was at the Channel and it was an all ages show. I think I see my brother in this video.

This is the most amazing thing ever. I don't know about your 80's, but I'll take Ministry With Sympathy 100 times before all that Top 40 Billy Ocean mess the radio threw at us.

Wow. Whoever recorded this probably wore a fanny pack with a VHS tape in it to pull this off. Wicked!

Was at this show and will never forget it. Brilliant album and era for Ministry, although some would disagree. Glad Al has finally come around to appreciating this masterpiece.
