I don’t believe this because on the next episode you see ridge and steffy and Eric asking how can they stopped carter from taking over and if ridge leave Brooke it’s because he want to so he goes to Taylor because Taylor and steffy will said that if it wasn’t for Brooke keeping carter and hope relationships than this wouldn’t happen and you would have head up that carter was with hope
