This is crazy to know that people were not allowed to film in National Parks. Drones can indeed be disturbing but other than that, nature belongs to everyone and we should all be able to show the beauty that it is to those who haven't been yet. Also, really loved the flute and the hike !! Really pretty and impressive :) Thanks for taking us along !

Pleasantly surprised to learn you so recently visited Pinnacles NP. We are here now and I hiked the High Peaks Trail yesterday. While we visit several times a year, yesterday's hike was more interesting because I had hail all through the high peaks rocks and all the way back to the campground. It was quite cold all day but hail is much better than rain. While the park is small there are lots more interesting trails here. Continued pleasant trails to you both.

I grew up about 55 minutes from the Pinacles (near Laguna Seca Raceway). Fond memories of the Pinnacles. So grateful to have a father that always took me backpacking, camping, and kayaking. Thank you for this video.

Always love your National Park adventures! We just car camped in Florida on some of the coldest days of the year and "cheated" with an electric blanket since we had electric at our site. Never thought about using the Jackery to power it though. Great idea! 🔥⚡🔋

Very cool using the old school white gas stove. Yup, snag yourself some inexpensive sleeping bags to be more comfortable, wool blanket inside. There are day/camping destinations all around the immediate SF south and east bay, investigate the county parks as many have camping available.

I am a petit fille and I have lived in my minivan since before 2020 started. I have power, a small frig. And solar soon. Oh and a commode. But it would be tough for more than 1 person. I was called to live simply and be mobile. It’s good, especially now that the gyms are reopening 😉

I would be crawling on my belly and still get no where near the edge of a rock, lol. My vertigo would pull me into the abyss. If I look up I fall backwards, if I look down I fall forwards... 😮😮😮 I always lose my breath just watching y’all get near the edge. I’ll tie a rope to my leg and tie myself to a tree and crawl on my belly... are you getting the visual? 😂 ... fat old lady on the ground tied to a tree 😂 ok I’ve had too much caffeine this morning. We will put this on our list of things to visit when we ever get the ProMaster finished... I don’t think old MoonPie would make it to Cali.

My wife and I started out by renting an SUV and bringing our camping supplies with us, opting to sleep in a tent or the SUV. We've used our converted cargo van @cajunvantravelers for the last 4 years now to getaway for the long vacation 1-2 week trips or just the weekend trips.

I'm assuming your planning on looking for land in Calif. So maybe you already know this is a tax state and your gonna be paying taxes up the you know what. I don't know what your looking for but myself, I want rocks and trees and a seasonal stream, maybe a well. Anyway, if your hearts set on Calif. then there's no talking you out of it but have you thought about Tahoe, it's got everything on my bucket list.
