Great box, you get what you pay for, mine has been faultless, upgraded from the X8H Plus. Had cheaper boxes they always have problems and I don't like kodi to be routed. I updated mine first, then deleted all the apps I won't need or disabled them. Download kodi 16.1 onto a USB stick then uploaded it to my box, not had problems watching live TV or streaming movies and that's running it wireless without homeplugs. Picks up my WiFi really well better than other boxes plus the A2 remote runs like a dream.

I have the A Neo 3 and it works great but 1 problem. It goes through AAA batteries like crazy. Can I disable the backlights n this remote? Thank you for responding...

the creators of the remote has that issue too, it kills battery like crazy. what i am doing to save the battery 1. using good brand or Ikea brand. 2. Everything i finish using the remote i take batteries out.

Random question, I have the minix neo 6 but my home screen looks more like a computer screen. I was just wondering if you have any idea on how to switch the main screen to look like yours? Great video by the way

XC techs I see apps, it's running and working perfectly fine, I just really prefer the interface on yours a lot more than mine haha. Yours makes it feel more of an entertainment device

I will have to make another video for that, let me dig some older video to help mean time. try this mean time, Settings // Apps // All Apps find the launcher your using right now and click on it and click on Default Off Press home and you should see the Metro Launcher select it and that is all.

Is this good for buying the first android box or you recomend something else?price is not an issue i see these are pretty cheap from china.can it run google play to download emulators and stuff?also do you recommend a3 controller or the other mini keyboard thingys they sell?

Hi,I have a X8H-plus and a 4k tv.I want to playback some mkv 4k files but the Minix seems to have problems and just displays "invalid format" and start to reproduce only the audio...or nothing,I put that same files in a usb and plugged in the tv and bingo! the tv can play 4k from the usb,the thing is that the tv´s remote control is almost a joke compared to the minix air mouse.So I´m kind of dissapointed because the Neo Plus promised 4k and apparently is not true.I´ve checked the settings more than once.Do you think the new Minix U9-H would help me? I´d use this machine mostly for watching HD MKV movies that I download .Thanks a lot and congratulations for your videos

on the home page in the upper right corner you have your time.date etc showing. It also shows the weather but it seems to be stuck on cloudy and 1C, this is not my local weather. How do i change it to display MY weather?? Thanks in advance.

Thank you !!! A great review indeed !!! Your video changed my mind and I now wish to buy it. Could you please please check out a few things on the box ? Does it support NTFS, HFS+, exFAT & FAT32 file systems ? What is the maximum size of HDD this box can support for each of the respective file systems ? I have 4 TB HDD formatted on NTFS. Will this box be able to read it's contents and play it?

Great Question: AS External Hard Drive it supports up to 2Tbyte each USB, and the formats it reads are NTFS, and exFAT, FAT and FAT32. Since you indicated 4TByte you can partition it as two 2TByte each and I am sure it will be able to read both.

they are the same thing, both have same specs if you ask me, U9-H have faster OS fixes then MyGica except that MyGica ATV1900Pro have a MiM0 Wifi, and you can hookup up to 2T Harddrive at the bottom, which is a laptop hard drive or SSD hard drive.

factory reset your box, it seems its a software issue if it is happening more then one app.

XC techs It's a great box... but many are coming with Android 7 already, and I'm sure the next Minix box will be running ver 7 as well. Question is... when is the next Minix box coming.
