Hi. Great video. Just one quick question. If I play 5.1 music from external hard drive Will I be able to send true 5.1 to my Yamaha 5.1 receiver? Secondly if I play DVD video with DVD audio, will the audio go to receiver and video to TV from same hdmi port? Off course the TV would be connected to HDMI out of receiver.

+Aindriu Mac Giolla Eoin There are remotes out there with microphones but I've tested a few and they don't work that well. There is also a mic input jack on the box if you are using it close range say as a computer.

+Stefan Andreasson Yes it should handle web pages but I think complex pages might be slower. Use Dolphin browser and you can install and run flash player in there I think.

+Greyspacealien I've noticed that Samsung devices have a hard time mirroring but most phones should mirror to this with the builtin to android mirroring feature. Also it mirrors really well to IOS did you go into the included airpin app and enable mirroring? Anyway maybe you could use an app to mirro to apple tv then use air pin to receive it.

I have an old Boxee Box media player which I only use to play video files stored on an external hard drive. Would this Neo U1 do a much better job at playing these files? +lattakia10 Yes it should defiantly handle playing videos off a drive. You could use an app like Kodi to play them. Or you can use other apps like MX player or ES file explorer to browse the files too. Personally I' use Plex and Plex server to play my movies from my computer in the other room. The interface is really awesome and it steams well. If you buy the U1 from Amazon be sure to use my link in the video description to add it to your cart first. Tried it out today, installed latest firmware, but none of the apps I was hoping to use worked well, or at all. For any Norwegian customer out there considering this thing, keep in mind that Sumo won't work properly or at all, Dplay crashes when you start a video, and HBONordic was lagging for me constantly.

+SwagGod 22 Definatly a USB hub. I think a printer too. it might have to be over bluetooth but it can be done. Lots of other devices too like a web cam, mouse keyboard, and hard drives.

+Edson Pizarro C. Sure no problem, if you want 4K for Netflix your best bet is to go with Nvidia shield, Amazon Fire TV or a Roku 4. The Fire TV is the cheapest of the three. I have the Fire TV and the nvidia shield and both are awesome it all depends on your budget.

+samexsonX You know I hadn't even read that spec, I just tested it and it worked with my 128 cards. I've had older boxes with Rockchip CPUs that only work with 32gb so I like test out each new box.

+colin pirouet I definitely prefer the U1 over the X8H/plus now. Its really better all around. Some things aren't much upgraded like the GPU but other things are much better like Android Lollipop.

Not currently. The Shield is just about the only player that can do that but 4k is going to use a lot of bandwidth.

I'd love to see the NGC-1 with android because I really think anodird is the best of a media player and windows is best for a desktop..Either way it can never be too fast. If they made it dual boot that would really go above an beyond. I think they dont do a dual boot because licensing issues with MS.

Tech Connect I'm surprised by your preference for android. I use such a box only for Kodi. Most of the comments I've read about Kodi platforms claim that Windows is superior. I have no direct experience with an Intel/Windows box to comment one way or the other.
