Why is that such a shock to so many? Being that we are all human, it stands to reason that a job doesn't make all evil and in a protest there will be intelligent, decent folks mixed in with shitheads. I think social media has allowed people to be so hateful so easily that we have become accustomed to the expectation of good and evil, no grey area. Or maybe we are too lazy to think about the situation and just assume the worst. For those two, there are hundreds more that feel the same. It's sad to see people shocked over the fact that eveyone isn't out to loot and burn and hate the law and whitey. It would be even more awesome if more people would think before they do. Cheers.

@@FOCKTARD The point of the protest is to prevent police violence against innocent people. Not all cops are bad, but there are also good ones out there. I hope you'll be able to understand through the protester's perspective because imagine having to learn how to protect yourself from the people who are supposed to protect you. I don't hate the cops, I just hope the bad ones don't try to use their power in an a abuseful way to hurt others. To me, I want everyone to be treated fairly by all officers no matter the race. I also want those who abuse their power to face the consequences without leniency involved. So, while you may assume that we want all cops gone, we don't. We just want to feel safe.

Be skeptical of this. After police had those pictures taken of them kneeling "in solidarity", eyewitnesses reported that they afterwards put on their riot gear and started assaulting the protesters and shooting them with tear gas. This crap is propaganda for the police to win public support that they don't deserve. They police are still out there assaulting civilians and reporters. Here's a video of cops shooting a protester directly in the face with a tear gas cannister. Fuck these guys. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5TWhHhrdr-LqbM

@Hector Aldozar Man people like you really grind my gears. Just say what you want to say, don't pussyfoot around with sarcasm especially on a platform where your tone of voice and facial expression cannot be seen to convey your message. We see, I think, two state patrol officers in any detail during this video. Which is in no way representative of the demographic make up of their numbers. You keep making it about race in every instance and that will get you no where. Those protesters broke the law which is why they're being arrested. They no doubt were given every option to cease and desist, but they stood their ground on their protesting knowing full well the consequences, which for them being peaceful will no doubt be a slap on the wrist and some hours detained. Minor losses when compared to the crime against Floyd, and their voices are heard. You sir are part of the problem. Mind sets like yours, at least from what I can glean from your comments, only cause other people to make poor choices of it comes to situations of violence after or during protests that devolve into riots. Which will put the officers in those situations who's job it is to keep the peace into even more difficult positions. I don't need to remind you thats when people get hurt and killed on both ends. The people here did well on all ends, and the news showed us exactly what they needed to without any bias or obvious agendas.

I was a NYC Police Detective for 18 of my 21 year career. I worked the street during the 80’s and 90’s when NYC was absolute pandemonium. We were getting close to 3000 Homicides a year, there was a Crack-Cocaine Epidemic going on. We’ve dealt with the most violent of criminals that at times it would take 6-8 of us to restrain and handcuff him. I don’t know how they do it elsewhere, but in my day, the protocol was to contain, restrain(if needed), handcuff the prisoner, get him on his feet, place him in the police car, and get him out of there immediately. Believe me, I’ve gotten more than my share of an ass whooping from strung out violent people. It’s nothing personal on both sides. Cops do not respond to a location unless 911 is called. I watched that film from all angles about 50 or so times. And when a handcuffed man’s failed attempt at begging for “Somebody” to save him from a police officer, then there’s a problem. I can’t speak for 2020, but in 1985, when there was no video cameras and cell phones, if a NYC Cop did that to a handcuffed prisoner, he would be immediately removed from the scene by a Supervisor, and at the end of the tour of duty, that Cop would’ve got the Shit beat out of him in the locker room. That Piece of Shit Cop set Respect and Trust for Law Enforcement Back 50 years. I’ve seen it many times in my day. And sadly, I’ll see it again. Remember, when you do good, no one remembers...when you do bad, no one forgets.

When you are a good person, protesting a just cause, but criminals are using these protests as a human shield from which to commit horrible crimes... there have been arsons, looting, murders, assaults, and rape... at some point, people need to decide not to provide cover to the criminals. The next step is for the good people among the protesters to realize that criminals are hiding among them, agree that they've been heard, loudly, and they'll stay home so that they are no longer a human shield from which arsonists can hide behind to burn their neighbors to the ground.
@robertgrey1377
@robertgrey1377 4 жыл бұрын
RealYRM even if they are being heard, if they stop now no change will happen. Change takes impact to your life to be effected in real life. Nobody cares until it affects them. Shits gotta get fucked up a little bit to make everyone realize how serious and important this is. There is no impact if everyone suddenly goes home. Whatever point your trying to make is not a good one. I don’t agree with violence and had a hard time understanding these protestors message while buildings burn, but the protestors are completely separate from the violent folks.

We don’t need to make poor people poorer, we don’t need to stop violence with violence, and we don’t need to make an ugly world more ugly by destroying it. The change is the law and the silent whites that know we are being killed for no reason. I’m raising a black son he is a honor student throughout his entire life in school and I have to teach him about the laws of what to do even when he’s not doing anything wrong. Yet the police don’t see that and they have rights to kill are kids for nothing so you can’t talk about change because we as black people been changing all are lives for y’all it’s time y’all start doing it.

@@Hikinggamer23 yeah people views started to really go off course and because of that its come to far. Law enforcement has no choice but for action with all the destruction. These people here though, some actually protests brings some hope to my heart. These are the people that should be bailed out. I know lots of celebrities are donating bail money but hopefully they help these people and not the looters.

Why don't they ever protest when joggers kill other joggers everyday? It's only when a guy with heart related issues dies when encountered by a police. Then you mentally challenged losers go and rob and burn down cities. Because that will get people to agree with you.

@@OGKZbinEnjoyer dude did not die from a heart attack. An independent autopsy done and they found he died from asphyxiation which is completely obvious. People protest cops killing black people because they do it all the time and rarely face jail time. They're protected by the system. Joggers are not.

„Black life’s matter" It’s just sad how this is a message they have to send. How is that even questionable... I wish racism itself was forbidden. Happy not to live in America in these times, were I live racism is not a thing anymore fortunately Edit: as some people told me racism exists everywhere, yes it does but it’s not tolerated at all by our government and the society.
