That move by Alanna Smith @05:59 is one of the best moves I have ever seen. She gathered it ahead of the rim and the way she turned back and lunged for that lay-up showcases her terrific footwork. What a skilled hooper!

Gonna take some games for Seattle to get acclimated and Loyd shooting woes was not good. Meanwhile, Lynx got a good road win from 2 ex-Sky players in Smith and Williams helping out.

Minn looks good, though Smith had a curious game of successes and failures mixed together. Seattle looked good until timeout, then something threw them off. Was it Minn defensive change or something else? Hard to say.
