Riding an absolutely epic track in the forest of Minnesota in the summer of 2021. This was the week just before the Spring Creek national in Millville, MN. I had just done a nasty high ankle sprain the weekend before at Southwick national in the LCQ and was needing to test out my ankle before Millville. Well the rains opened up and tracks were closed. I was super lucky to have a local reach out and offer hospitality and tracks to ride! It was super muddy out there and the most unique dirt I had ever ridden on. Spongey in areas, grippy in others, and totally slick in some. The course I was riding wrapped around part of the 70 acres and all throughout the forest, it was magical. I felt super lucky to get the opportunity and ended up riding way too long and it dipped heavily into my bike prep for the national. Worth it? YES! Unfortunately the owner sold the land and moved onto someone else but I will always cherish this awesome experience I had!
