I just got back from a tour across Italy, and I would strongly agree that the Saint Paul cathedral is top notch. I've never recognized it as such, but it truly is just as beautiful as any of the duomo's I saw in Italy.

I grew up in Mpls. But we spent most of our summers on the north end of Lake Roosevelt; with many a trip to outing for wild berry picking Our family friend Gussey owned & ran a cabin & general store at the Narrows. We attended Sunday Mass in Emily & our neighbor taught me to make bread & to quilt. ..Fond memories. 😊

The far south eastern corner of MN is known as part of the 'Driftless Region.' it's an area never covered by glaciers. It has fossils from when it was covered by the sea. There are multiple environments in conjoining areas & it has always been a culturally holy area. Great hiking & exploring. Breathtaking.
