Darnold is very agile in the pocket, loving it. Such a huge weapon when we have the occasional whiff from the Bradbury/Ingram combo. Those whiffs were drive killers with Cousins, while I’ve seen Darnold dodge those and keep our drives alive

Darnold moves well in an ever-changing "NFL pocket," which most QBs do poorly. Seldom do we see the perfect half-circle forcefield. Remember how they built that for Tom Brady in New England? You'll still see that...maybe 20 percent of the time. Most of the time, a QB needs to learn to shuffle around in a shifting pocket. The O Linemen can keep rushers off you, but you need to help them by moving around yourself. Darnold can move around, and then still throw a frozen rope right on the money. Fun to watch.

I was at the Vikings game on Sunday and was shocked by how many 49er fans were there, 35 to 40% and all in red jerseys. We spoke with some 49er fans before the game and they said they cannot get tickets for their own home games because they are so expensive, so it is actually cheaper for them to fly to Minnesota. stay in a hotel, and pay for tickets. The train from the mall of America was full of 49er fans.

I have a feeling that selling off season tickets is about to go waaay down. Now that Minnesotans see their Vikings as a legitimate threat in the frozen North, they are going to start looking forward to watching them beat down some opponents. The B-Flo D and Slingin' Sam's half-mile bombs to Jets and Speedy should provide enough ooh's and aah's for a decent Sunday of entertainment. If you were looking for some proof, you got it. The Vikings just beat the 49ers, an NFL top-three team. This means they have a good chance to beat anybody in the league. Better still, their game against SF was far from flawless. They were one fumble and an interception by Fred Warner from this game becoming a blowout.

Judd, you cannot tell people what to do with their money/season tickets. I would never tell you what you can or cannot do with yours. You have no idea what situation season ticket holders are in. Do their kids have a sporting event? My son had a football game on Sunday, and he wins every time over going to a Viking game. Next weekend he has a baseball tournament, so I’m selling my tickets again, apologies for the 4 extra Texan fans that may be at the game. Now let’s get into the financials, ticket prices are up again for season tickets. Along with my mortgage, groceries and everything else. If me selling a few games a year allows me to be able to afford to keep my season tickets it is well worth a few extra visiting fans in the stadium. Going to games is something U did with my Dad before he passed. Know U am doing all I can so my 4 and 10 year old sons will get to experience this with me. I am extremely disappointed in how short sighted and narrow minded your “statement” was. I am a big fan of all of the SKOR North content, and although this isn’t the first time you have made this point, it needs to be the last.
