With the "mom" and "dari" lines it's very intentionally meant to sound like English as well, they do that a lot in rap but especially YG raps they like to have double meanings with Korean words to be catchy. With Tang! Tang just means the sound of a gun, so like shooting his shot, he doesn't know how to get her to like him because she won't fall for him with his expensive gestures, you're correct. My interpretation is that he was used to getting girls interest that way through his status and money in the past, but he met a girl who wasn't swayed by any of that and it made he realise how little he really knows about women and love. I really love Tang! Glad you enjoyed!

If Art was a human being, it would be Song Mino. His whole being is art.He is a genius rapper/producer/lyricist who is well known and respected in Korea for pushing the boundaries while maintaining the essence of hip-hop. He's also considered as one of the best rappers in S.Korea, so that's that. (His flow ,lyricism and stage presence sets him apart from others) Most of the lyric translations don't do him justice so if you ever feel confused just keep in mind that the expressions he uses can't be properly translated due to the differences in the languages... I super agree with this! If his fans were to say he is an artist, no could could possible argue. He is a literal artist. He is so good at anything that involves art. May it be drawing/painting, designing which includes his love for clothing and fashion, such a good composer and lyricist, insane rapping, unique singing, a very good dancer and many others. This man is just so talented in so many ways. His entertainment skills is even impressive. 🤣

I suggest you react songs from his first solo album. Kang Seungyoon - Iyah (it's kpop live band ver.) Kang Seungyoon - 365 (it's kpop live band ver.) Kang Seungyoon - Tread on me (cool live) Kang Seungyoon - Were we? (cool live) Iyah is a song he wrote for his past self. The lyrics for 365 is so sad because the song is for his father who left him when he was a kid. He resented his father when he was young for leaving him and his mom. While growing up, he realized that he should forgive his father. But at the time he tried reaching out for him and reconnect, his father already passed away. You can see him being emotional while singing this song. I bet he cried a bit. Yoon also participated on King of Mask Singer (A korean variety show where people from different industries participate to battle for the throne of becoming a Mask King.) He is the second male idol to become a Mask King, The Youngest Mask King and The Top 3 Male Mask King.

You can watch DKDTV's explanation about Fiance RJ. There is a lot of references that only korean knows, actually some koreans also can't figure out some words bcoz of how Mino used wordplays. But in DKDTV's explanation you can have a grasp of what Mino's meant with this song. They explained it very well. Wordplays and deep lyrics are the reason why lyric videos of Mino's songs esp. in his XX albums songs were inaccurate since they can't also fathom the wordplays Mino used with his lyrics. Thanks for reacting to Mino! In WINNER each member has their own individuality in music and so, as a soloist the genre of music Mino mainly encapsulates is hip hop. To roughly answer a few of your questions: 1) Fiancé - unless you're Korean, his usage in lyrics / metaphors / symbolism is quite difficult to comprehend and so, was highly commended by the general public for this. For the "blue bird" , the reference is taken from a play titled "The Blue Bird" by Maurice Maeterlinck (1908) in which two children go on a quest to find a blue bird as they were told it brings happiness, however, coming home empty handed, they realize they had a blue bird at home all along. 2) Tang! - 'Tang' is an onomatopoeia for a gun shot (in this case I'm assuming similarly to how cupids shoot arrows (?)) Main point scenario would be the man he portrays in his song / mv is someone who is inexperienced in love (to some degree) and woman as a whole hence the line "I'm dumb so I don't really know what's in a woman's heart". He likes this girl but doesn't know how to win her over and so, does what he knows which is thinking if he buys her whatever she wants (thinking this is him treating her right), she'll like him back. His line "I don't want to get hurt again" also implies the feeling of rejection or heartbreak but yeah the entirety of the song as a whole can be interpreted in however the listener hears it in all honesty. If you have any other questions in the midst of your reactions, do not hesitate to ask! If you happen to want to react to Mino again, I strongly suggest his single, Fear. It's a literal biography of his life up until 2015 with great meaning and straightforward lyrics. It's a mid-tempo hip hop track :) Shoot was also a good one (no mv only a live performance for a television show - this one is filled with complex lyrics similarly to Fiancé that is based on Korean history - upbeat hip hop track).

MINO is my ultimate bias. His wordplay is through the roof, I remember I had to listen to Fiance multiple times when it came out for me to catch his wordplay and it really blew me away. If you’re interested in more MINO, you should check out ‘Fear’ featuring Taeyang (BIGBANG) from when he joined Show Me The Money (a rap show) and also ‘Run Away’, which is a more recent release. Adding on to the English translation of 'Body', I feel like 'I miss your body' would have been better off as 'I'm longing for your body'? In a way? The lyrics are pretty darn sensuous and I feel like the former translation just doesn't do it enough justice for me hahahahah I agree with the comments saying that it's harder to translate his lyrics, the meanings (double meanings too) and the certain expressions he uses in songs. For instance, he could be saying xx but the way he pronounces it sounds like yy. As I said, I would listen to his songs a few times to try and capture the meaning behind them and by the time I think I've understood it all, the song is stuck in my head 😂

My interpretation of Tang is he using a VR game to tell the girl he likes IRL that he likes her. He is like I am rich and you can use my money to get whatever you want. "use it like game money" but in reality what he wants is her heart. He keeps trying to confess but it fails in the game (she leaves the saloon/the dog gets water on the game device). In the end she malfunctions and his confession is failed yet again. So he invites her to the bar IRL to confess. The Tang! Is him firing his love bullets ala Cupid arrows at her.

i think mino is a very unique aritst in kpop/khiphop. he has his own very recognizable "sound" where you can listen to one second of a song and instantly know its his, which was surprising given the large musical range he has in his discography. in my opinion, he fits all the definitions of "artist" very well. i've been listening to his entire discography on repeat for the past 4 months now and i have yet to get tired of it. his rapping, singing, producing, writing, envisioning, etc.. skills are just so brilliant. i feel like every time i listen to his music, i find a new piece of detail i have never noticed before. i'd say some of my favs of his are fiancé, her, aurora, breathe, run away, ok man, hop in, daylight, click/han river, tang, love in da car, muah, sad walk, and most recently body, just to name a few lmfao. i wish his work was recognized and appreciated by more people...

Actually, it's hard to understand MINO's lyrics. He's like the most poetic rapper I've ever known. There are times when you think that you understand what he's saying but then it actually meant something else. He's great at wordplay and his flow is very unpredictable. This is actually why I got drawn into him. He keeps you wonderin' and excited of what he will show next. If I were to describe MINO, I'd say he is an artist that knows no bound. He expresses art not only thru music but also in other areas. He actually debuted as a new artist/painter and was able to exhibit his works in well known galleries. He also debuted as a model when he walk the runway for Louis Vuitton in Paris. He remained humble and kind despite being talented and well-known in Korea. Btw, don't get him wrong. For Tang, it means shooting you with love like what Cupid does. Mino is so hooked in VR dating game and living a life different to reality. He can become someone he likes in VR games like he is rich man and have everything and confess his love to the girl which in reality is the opposite. In reality he is not that confident to confess his love to the girl. And when he finally asked her thru text (in the last part of the video) he is not focusing on it but on the game.
