I made a fake documentary about the events of the first 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, from the perspective of one of the Foot Clan Ninjas. All use is intended as PARODY and fair use, please don't be mad at me.
*SPECIAL THANKS*
Special thanks to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for creating a timeless part of my childhood, and especially for "The Last Ronin" which I recently discovered, and rekindled my love for the turtles.
Extra special thanks to Kevin Eastman who sold me the headband on his online store, please check out his website at fan.kevineastm...
Special thanks to NECA and BST AXN for creating the action figures featured in the re-creation stills.
Special thanks to Michael Dudikoff, whose "American Ninja" I found on TV when I had chicken pox as a kid, and I LOVED it.

That was basically the plot in the original story, except it was the other way around. Oroku Saki had already gotten his revenge on Hamato Yoshi and it was Hamato Splinter who trained his proteges in order to murder Saki. He never even intended them to fight crime.

It's funny but Shredder didn't come to America to get revenge on Splinter because the whole face scratch happened after Yoshi fled to America and Saki followed him there. The main reason he was after the Turtles was because they were interfering with his operations which had nothing to do with the rat

"Figuring out we were child soldiers in a blood feud between a crazy Japanese guy and a rat" is a theme in more mature versions of TMNT like Mirage and IDW. As the turtles grow, they realize they're trapped in this endless cycle of murder and revenge that they had no part in starting but were raised to continue by the father they trusted.

@@KathrynElizabeth-j7y I mean, it was fun, but it was nowhere near "faithful to the source." Heh. Splinter was originally human in the source. Casey Jones never had a thing for April. Burne Thompson (if that was even her boss' name in the movie) looked and acted nothing like the original. Obviously the whole origin storyline was messed up, too, since they had Splinter as a pet of himself in the movie. It's not as egregious as many modern stuff, but it wasn't really "faithful."

Thanks for opening up. I was also indoctrinated into a gang in the 80s. It was called the Scullions and at first seemed like a bit of victimless fun. The leader Zed was a bit unhinged but there was a supportive atmosphere for kids from tough backgrounds. Anyway long story short it got increasingly violent and I had my doubts after the whole gang got together to wreck a charity street fair. We ended up hiding out at the zoo and ended up getting taken down by a bunch of rookie cops who we later found out were on their first assignment. The guy who collared me I swear looked like a defensive end from the Colts back when they were in Baltimore.
