Look into lucky stops. They offer a variety of stop positions that can change let off positions from 70-90%

I highly recommend Lucky Stops and a Tim Gillingham grip for Bowtechs. The Lucky Stops allow you to adjust your holding weight in small increments. I like the narrow 6 degree but he also has wide options and 3, 6, 9, and 12 degree angles.

You can cover the stops with different thicknesses of rubber fuel line for different letoff % and back wall feel. You can also invest in Lucky Stops, the BR model on the 4 dot setting puts my Revolt XL at 77% which is perfect.

I just brought a ss34 from Lancaster Archery 2 weeks ago. My first bow in over 10 years and what a difference.
@tommurph4496 Жыл бұрын
Could you do a comparison between the phase4 33 and the SS34, strictly in performance mode?
@jackbuendgen389 Жыл бұрын
I have a SS34 and had terrible cable wear. I had serving separation in 5 different places. My bow tech owns one and put a new set of strings and it's been fine. So I think it's just bad strings
@landonzimmerman5431 Жыл бұрын
Same here. I got 500 shots in and my cable serving separation was so bad the bare string was sitting on the cam. Hopefully new strings do better.

@@landonzimmerman5431 yeah the stock strings on BowTechs are absolutely garbage. I put on new strings before I ever even set it up haha
@landonzimmerman5431 Жыл бұрын
@@InsideOutPrecision will bow manufacturers ever put a little more effort into stock strings? I swear they’re getting worse. Id rather get $50 off and get the bow with no string.

@@landonzimmerman5431 I doubt it. Mathews aren’t terrible, but Bow Techs are the worst

Will definitely try your shrink tube trick… I bought a Carbon One and run in the same issue!
@miket8018 Жыл бұрын
The shrink wrap cable stop idea is awesome. I have a CP30 and juggle the same thing, would like some more holding weight and don't want to shoot performance mod. can't wait!

That bow seems sweet, I just watched Tim that used to be on ElkShape get one that he was going to consider hunting with! I really want a new bow, but you just got me set back up with the warrantied sight on my bowtech reign and its about feeling like a new bow now that my rest is properly set up too! 🤣 I may have to message you with some questions to save another visit to the shop in a few weeks.. but regardless it is cool that you moved to G4 archery, your videos taught me a lot in the past! 👍

You ever find a spot up here?!

Yeah bought a place in Forest Grove

The re routed the serving course so it doesn't have the realy bad angles going through the cam anymore. So the serving separation idoesnt happen like previous models.

Try the Lucky Stops. That's what I have on my Bowtech. I think there is for different adjustments.

Can you do a video for the shrink tube on the Mathews mod please

Just cut little strips and glue them over each other on the stops

Why would you shift your cams to extreme positions?

To tune the bow. They’re designed to move right/left on the axle change the horizontal test through paper

So I have a Mathews V3X 33 that I bought last fall. I am a 29 inch draw length and the bow currently has a 29 inch mod on it. However, at times, it feels too long. I know you said in the video that Mathews run a 1/2 inch long. Have you found this to be the case for all their modules? Have you tested this on a draw board? Thanks
@InsideOutPrecision Жыл бұрын
Yeah they always about a half longer than other brands in the same draw length
