I love how minos was a king who tried to negotiate with gabriel but in the result got trapped in a prison made out of flesh in his own corpse. He had to watch his own corpse destroy everything that he built, then all of a sudden he is free of this curse. He became an omniversal being just because people believed in him. And then he gets beaten by a head made out of stone.

Minos Prime battling Gabriel and his own corpse is actually really cool, lore wise. It's like a what-if scenario if he managed to break out of the Flesh Prison himself and finally sought his long-waited vengeance on Gabriel and taking down his own corpse from undoing the Lust renaissance he had worked so hard to bring rise to in the first place.

It's cool I guess, but the fact that enemies still only target player (or rather the spot where player was last standing before going in ultra director mode), kinda makes these fights pointless, because enemies will put their full power in destroying the "imaginary" player, so half of their attacks will go to nothing, instead of you know, to something

I like the possible idea that even if minos prime was able to get out of the flesh prison, if the prison was still alive then he still wouldn't be able to leave the arena since the prison is literally built to be self-sustaining and win with endurance as long as it doesn't take significant damage before healing/never gets to heal in the first place. And since minos prime has stamina he can only physically attack the eyes and the prison so often to where he probably would be there eternally (besides violent phase 2 minos prime shut up)

If we've learned anything here, it's that Minos's fighting style isn't exactly suited for opponents that are airborne, or deal with a constant damage in area hazard (Looking at you, Gab's swords). He's no air fighter.
