Hi! Just discovered your channel, and I've loved looking at your makeup designs. As a face painter, I just thought I'd offer a tip. The Wolfe white you're using has a waxy consistency, and, although it can be used to cover larger areas, painters often use it for line work, because of its opacity and resistance to smudging. To cover larger areas, I recommend using considerably less water to activate the paint (it shouldn't be dripping down the skin.) No harm in adding a little at a time, because you can add more water, but it's difficult to take away too much water without wasting the product. Then, use a kabuki brush to blend the face paint into the skin. Waxier paints like Wolfe and DFX will have more opaque coverage, and creamier/oilier paints like Mehron will blend easier, and offer a softer coverage.

Don’t blend out water paints with a sponge, no matter how much you try the dampness of the sponge will lift any makeup that has even started to dry. You need to use a brush and I totally recommend water paint as it lasts far longer and is far more comfortable and transfer proof, especially if you use an fx activator rather than water and a water paint sealing setting spray

When I use the more 'waxy' face pain and find it's sticky I add a drop or 2 of baby oil to then it out. Depending on what Im doing I may use my hand, then spong(dry any excess Nd blend), then if needed a little baby powder, if not i use beatuy bnder sponge, then brush with powder. When im done ill seal my face with a little powder then spray matt setting spray. Thank you for the making the video and showing the difference between the types of face paint. Arigato! Thank you!

Cream based makeups are actually the goat, you just need to warm them up first! Not like in a microwave or anything, but you take the product you're using and put it on a pallet, a paper plate, the back of your hand, whatever you use to mix pigments, whateva. Take a beauty blender/sponge and swirl it in the product, it becomes SUPER smooth and much easier to work with!
@kakumee2 ай бұрын
You can also use a little bit of baby oil to mix into the ben nye, it helps a bit. I would put maby 3 drops or so and mix it in, I'd only mix in up to half the container. That way you have some without the oil so you can mix in if you get it a bit too oily. Just something that might help. ❤

Which one stays on the best and doesn't sink into your fine lines like crazy? I have pretty youthful skin, but when I wear my Kryolan Clown White, it sinks into every little line I have within a half an hour and I've tried it with primer, powder, you name it. It also gets all over my clothes (which are mostly black). Thank you in advance!

This is so helpful!! I love your videos, and I'm really inspired to try shironuri now! How important do you think it is to blend the white down your neck and onto your body etc? I'd worry about it getting on my clothes, butnI wouldn't want to look weird! What do you think?
@Minsooky6 жыл бұрын
izzi b a lot of shironuri artists say you should cover any exposed skin. Until recently I didn't do that because it took way too much time. But now I use water activated face paints for that, the good thing about them is that they dry down completely matte without powder :)

I’m not sure if you will see this, but when I use a white paint (it’s cheap) and blend it with a sponge, the sponge ends up removing the white once it starts drying. Im not sure why. So you recommend to not make the beauty blended wet white patting? If I got one of these white foundations from this video, will they come off my face while dabbing as well?
