I experimented by using low fat coconut milk as a substitute for yogurt. I didn’t think it would work but it tasted absolutely phenomenal!

I also add mango powder in as this gives it a lovely sweet flavour and I would omit the sugar. 😉😊

I like to add for colour, saffron threads steeped in warm milk. Call me fussy, but I prefer the colour.

Nice twist Richard. Another great vid. My takeaway uses only full fat milk in their recipe. But when we've made it its always been with yoghurt.

Mate you've created the most useful channel I've ever seen on KZbin. I absolutely love it. I'm definitely going to cook some (most!) of your recipes. You're going to keep me very busy in the kitchen. I'd love to know your story, how did you get into cooking UK restaurant style Indian food? Were you ever working in a kitchen? I'd also really appreciate a video or even a comment with some details about your equipment. I know it's pretty simple stuff but I've never cooked a curry before. Lastly I wonder if you could recommend a good online source for spices? I live in a place with no real Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi community these days, so I think it might be tough to get hold of some of these ingredients locally. Sorry mate, a lot of questions, but I'm pretty excited about getting into this, because I love this type of food. Thank you for making these videos.

Hi there,, I'm glad all fingers are safe!!!! 😳We had an Indian meal a moment ago and I had lamb jelfrizy with Palau rice and of course I had reyata with it, makes a big difference to the curry,, must try to make this version of it ,,,it looks scuptuious, can you use Greek yogurt?as most resipies call for just plain yogurt,, but i like with finely chopped cucumber in mine.🥒 🥕🍷 Take care stay safe ,,have a great week.

Hey Misty have you done a samosa dipping sauce? The tamarind one. And then there is another one served with allo tiki
@MistyRicardo8 жыл бұрын
Hi Gordon. I've not done a tamarind dipping sauce (yet). I use the East End brand bottled tamarind sauce as a dip. It's good.
