There is a much easier way to animate on it, actually. First, you click on the tool next to gallery in the top left corner, and underneath the big top word “Actions” you click on canvas. Underneath there you will see crop and resize, but under THAT there will be an option to allow animation guide, and drawing guide. Turn on animation guide and you will see a bar underneath your drawing (or blank canvas) and you will see you will see your first frame! Click on it and there will be options to add another frame, duplicate that frame, etc. Now animate your heart out! 💖

There’s actually a setting specifically designed for animation. Just go into actions, canvas, animation assist. It includes onion skins, speed and loop/pingpong/oneshot, and you can even add backgrounds and foregrounds. There’s probably some other cool features in there too that I haven’t found yet ❤😂

if you don't know what "Alpha lock" is its in the layers you edit a layer, do Alpha lock, and boom you can't follow outside of lines which makes it so much easier!

ok so i just did this and you need to make sure you didn't leave any layers hidden. (this is done via the checkboxes on the layers palate) ************* also, if you want to keep all your layers separate (color and linework) so that you could make edits later... just group them. **********************example - for the wave where arm is to the left and you have a color layer and lines layer for that - swipe right on both layers in the layers palate, then you will see at the top of the palate, you can group them. THIS WAY when you export to gif, you wont see a separate lines layer, color layer, etc. you will see a frame that's colors+lines (as a single frame). *************THEN what i did is extended the wave by just left swiping the group i made, then chosing "duplicate". in all i have 3 "frames". 1- he raises his arm 2- left wave 3- right wave. and then i duplicated 2 and 3 to extend it.************* HOPE THAT HELPS YA'LL OUT. :)

you can make it easier by going on the wrench thing and using the animation help, it lets you watch the animation without having to go on the wrench thing each time and idk it just makes it easier

I took an animation class in high school and was convinced that I’d never be able to do it again because programs can be too expensive for me to buy for just a hobby. I actually don’t own procreate, but this is even more incentive. Also Mang is pronounced like Mahng 😭😭 (Edited out that Mang is a girl because apparently it's false.
