As a violin teacher; this video was still incredibly helpful (just to find helpful teaching methods). I just subscribed, but please keep making videos, because it’s super helpful

Can not express my glee with my playing after I watch and practice with your videos. I finally feel like I have made two years of progress now that I have been playing for two years. So frustrating to practice and get no smoother. My in-person teacher is more of an "assigner" than he is a teacher, never gives me tips and yours solve so many issues for me!

My teacher is also that way, so I completely understand what you are going through. This video helped in so many ways I’m speechless 🙁

Hello Corinne! I am also on and off violin and SUZUKI method also helps me a lot. and as I keep returning to the early pieces now I have fuller information. this piece is Chorale "Du Friedeürst, Herr Jesu Christ" BWV 116 written in 1724. The opus was written for the 25th Sunday after Trinity November 26, 1724 concluding the liturgical year. i just wanted to add, as i found i researched for it although not very clear, people will find it easier to retrieve. it was a painstaking effort and yet there are ones i couldn't identify.

I'm an older student. I'm totally stuck with this piece. I can play the arpeggio just fine but as soon as I try to play the piece I fall apart and start double striking like crazy. It's so bad that I'm double striking in every I play now... help?

Do you have any tips for thick fingers because my figer keeps hitting e string so it doesnt ring
@SuzukiTips4 жыл бұрын
Make sure your fingers make tall tables so they tunnel the E string. See if this makes a difference for you :)
