I initially thought it was a homeless person as they frequent the rail trail lol.

Rick slowly popping up behind the concrete at 00:06, and many other scenes! Nice that Dover isn't Over by rail just yet!

Your videos are excellent. Succinct, concise, informative, well shot and edited. BMRRHS is lucky to have you. I grew up in Salem and remember the manure cars lined up outside Rockingham along Route 28. I did a tour of the Billerica shops as a cub scout and have been hooked on trains ever since. I even belonged to the Lawrence Model Railroad Association in the back room of Modeler's Haven. Funny to think that all of that is gone now.

I get the newsletter from B&MRRHS. I'm glad to be a member even though I've not met anyone in it yet. I am super impressed with the incredibly high-quality of printed images whether in color or B&W. I imagine that takes a decent amount of time and $$$ for the ink. Looking forward to maybe someday meeting some of 'yall.

Been waiting for this episode for a longggg time. I grew up in this area and no matter how much I think I know, there’s always more to learn. Thank you for making it! Well done!

I have pleasant memories of Dover from rail fanning in five decades there.

Will you guys ever do a video on some of the stations in NY? Eagle bridge is still there and unlike the other remaining NY Boston and Maine stations it isn’t someone’s house now. I wish the Troy-Boston line still ran.

Along Spur Road there are two milepost markers the P7/D4 and P6/D5 (which is hidden behind a telephone pole) and there is one down beyond Sawyers P9/D2 (this one had gotten karate chopped by a couple of fallen trees but is intact but has popped out of place and laying on the ground), the milepost markers on the abandoned Cocheco, the ones on the Conway branch from Jewett up through Rochester and beyond and also on the Phantom Division (WN&P) are cut granite slabs, but the markers on the Portsmouth and Dover are of a different style and appear to be of a different material, anybody know the origin or history of these markers?.
