It blows my mind how people can get so cold in heart to take advantage of others. I feel for this little girl who had to see her mom go through this strange form of torture and control. I wonder why the mom allowed this to happen to herself and to be around her uncle knowing how he was? I am so thankful for the little girls courage to do what she did and for the grandmother to do what she did. There is a sense of freedom from the cycle, yet now there must be a transforming and rebuilding of their hearts. To understand what led to this in the first place and what to do so it never happens again. My prayers are for you. And for all who experience pain and confusion from harmful experiences in life.
