these people who come back from a coma after many years are extremely rare. A vegetative state after heart surgery will not likely be reversible. Sorry for your misfortune. It is in the fine print but no one reads it or would be stopped by it. It also mentions death as a possibility after or during heart surgery. People still take the risk. It is human nature to see the positive. We all do it.

My daughter was in a coma for 3.5 years. She was in a car accident resulting in a severe traumatic brain injury with a severe skull fracture. The doctors said if she ever wakes she would be a vegetable and would not know anything or anyone. God told me she would. Her accident was 8/12/11 She woke from the coma mother's day 2015 at home. She was immediately able to identify me, other family members, and friends. She is doing very well and we thank God! Only God could have saved my baby and he did. To God be the glory!

@@sacramentallyill She was 25 the time of the accident, she's now 32. No, she was out cold from the day of the accident. She was in surgery 7.5 hours. 4.5 of the time was on the brain surgery. She went into the coma the day of the accident 8/12/11 nothing out cold. I took her home against medical advise because Jesus told me I could. With no medical experience. I quit my job and took care of her full time with the help of God and the emergency room. She woke on mother's day 2015. She remains total care. She can't walk but is trying to talk. She retired from the Dept of Homeland Security, She continues to communicate with her team via social media. She thinks she can do what she used to and gets very upset when you tell her she can't. God is amazing! I prayed that he would make a liar out of the doctors and please give me my only daughter back in any way he please just don't take her and he did and for that, I will praise the Lord with every fiber of my being every day of my life! I use to feel bad because I was never afraid for my daughter's life God told me she would be okay if I believe and trust him. I cried out to God twice during this time once the evening of the accident and maybe 2.5 years in. I wanted to know when was he going to wake my baby. On mother's day of all times, he woke her up making certain no one in this world could ever outdo his mother's day present. I'm planning a big party for her 35th birthday 10 years anniversary of the accident I plan to invite the team of specialist doctors to the party and introduce them to the vegetable I should allow them to give her something and let her go quietly. The only time my baby has ever been quiet is when she was in the coma. I know you asked me 2 simple questions but I love talking about this miracle God allowed me to be a part of. I honored he choose us to show this wicked world Jesus lives and is in full control and there's nothing the devil can do the amazing ultimate Jesus can't fix. Amen.

@@HondaGalaxy nothing...it isn't enough profitable for them. Pharma is the second largest crocked industry right after weapons. With this drug...it would target only small part of population and even less when you cross out undeveloped parts of the world (there is more than developed). So they better focus on massproducing antidepresants, antivirotics and other regular seasonal drugs to implat to mass population. America being the biggest and worst example how weapons and pharma are just a business. 75% of antidepressants made worldwide are prescribed in USA. It is all about profit and numbers.

Do they cry during the horrifying organ donor Harvest ?.nowadays they don't use anesthesia.. please see 82 year old pastor and creator of the neonatal industry Dr Paul Byrne speak about this nightmare in a video called : "DOES THE GOVERNMENT OWN YOUR ORGANS ?" .. if you can deal with that then maybe you will watch the 17-minute updated version of : THE SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT the ORGAN DONOR INDUSTRY ".. where Dr Jennifer Daniels shows the actual directive that says NOT to USE ANESTHESIA . she has fled to the mountains of Panama for safety after making very powerful enemies in a 44 billion dollars a year industry that is tantamount to live Human Sacrifice . ...she hides the truth and a third video called erectile dysfunction and brain parasites at 17 minutes 35 seconds in. ... the saddest thing about watching these and learning is when Dr Byrne who loves babies says they are doing this ungodly procedure more and more ON BABIES ,INFANTS and SMALL CHILDREN ... .... please educate yourself and STOP THE HUMAN SACRIFICE. ...this should be at the front of the news ...the perpetrators involved are the hospitals ,the insurance companies ,BIG Pharma and the surgeons.. they're all contracted in beforehand . ...there must be some powerful gag orders keeping the hospital workers from talking about what they've seen such as people waking up during the surgery or just before it . ..the odds of this are diminished now that they have amped up the drugs that paralyze people.. sometimes they even bypass the vocal cords . perpetrators need to go to jail.. actually maybe we should reinstate the death penalty for some of them . . please educate yourself and your loved ones and whatever you do.. do not agree to an apnea test if you or your loved one is coming in through the emergency Ward or the ICU.. Dr Byrne says that person will be an unwitting organ donor

My grandmother was pretty much a vegetable for the last 10 years of her life. She would just sit in her chair and never say anything. You had to help her do everything. I remember one night when my parents were out and I was watching her, out of the blue it was like she awoke from a dream and was her normal self again. She talked, she walked, she was coherent and lucid...it was wonderful. And then after about 30 minutes she went back to the way she was before and it never happened again.

Amazing. I spent 2 months in a coma this past June/July (2018). When I woke up I was intubated, on life support, had a feeding tube and was strapped to the bed. I had permanently lost both kidneys and had been put on dialysis treatments. I was paralyzed from the neck down. I couldn't speak, couldn't sit up, roll over or even slightly turn over. Forget about walking because I was unable to even lift my leg, feet or even move from side to side or twitch any muscle. I had many blood transfusions and other plasma treatments. I was ice cold to the touch. The drs had told my family I wasn't going to live and I suffered a catastrophic brain Injury (lack of oxygen for an extended period of time) and would be a vegetable the rest of my life. Thankfully, my family...Mom, especially, refused to give up on me and refused to leave the hospital until I was awake & well. I guess she didn't want the cord to "accidentally" fall out of the electric socket..lol. 😃 I was home by August 17th, my youngest sons 18th birthday, and though I was in a horrific state by any stretch, I made the bike up the 14 stairs and WALKED through the door. By Christmas I abandoned the wheel chair, walker, folks for and came and WALKED completely on my own the entire day. What a wonder gift to receive and share with my family. Today, other than dialysis, I'm none the worse for wear and very much back to my normal self. I hope treatment will lead to this woman having the miraculous recovery that I have made. Bless her and her family.

Had (now deceased) 93 year old relative in advanced dementia (not speaking, not walking, not responsive but eating spooned food). I sat with person and repeated my name continually for 15 minutes (“I am Barb Hall, I am Barb Hall”) as person stared straight ahead. Slowly patient turned head towards me and said very slowly after not speaking for months, “I-know-that.” And tried to smile. I almost fell off my chair, and the nursing assistant who witnessed this dropped her jaw. Then, it was back to a dull, non responsive state. Patient stopped eating several months later and died. The brain is an amazing organ. We know so little, but I pray the Alzheimers researchers make a lot of progress soon.

@DaneWinehouse
@DaneWinehouse 7 жыл бұрын
Related: If this is the story I'm recalling correctly... 2 years ago she attempted suicide and it caused brain injury. Zolpidem is just the name of 'Ambien', a medicine that induces sleep. It acts on a receptor that is supposed to create a sleepy haze in 'healthy' people. (Kinda like adderall slows down actual attention deficit but keeps everybody normal zooming) Studies actually started around a decade ago, when they noticed that some 'barely' conscious comatose patients also started 'waking up', as opposed to forcing sleep. It doesnt work across the board 100%, and the effect is extremely short lived. I consider that a failure, but seeing that they can induce wakefulness by acting on that very receptor means that there is an understanding of how you can start to repair or at least 'coddle' that area into doing what it is supposed to. Think more of the Robin Williams movie 'Awakenings', where you can bring them back for a while.. but keeping someone awake for a short time isnt a successful recovery so much as a demonstration of what will be available... eventually.
@brainimp
@brainimp 7 жыл бұрын
The drug is used as a sleeping pill but it was discovered that it temporarily had the opposite affect on people in certain vegetative states, problem is they need to keep increasing the dose to keep waking, so its not useful long term because they are already administering a dose higher than what is recommended for an healthy person, I watched this quite a few years back so hopefully our understanding is in a way more advanced stage now and they closer to a more more long term solution.

Please tell your mom about HARITAKI and please go to the channel by the same name but it might be hard to find because there's a lot of videos about it nowadays.. it INCREASES OXYGEN to the brain by about 300% and it also helps CUT OFF the NEGATIVE THOUGHTS and is a wonderful brain healer and makes people smarter.. I was taking the powder which I bought very cheaply at an Indian Grocers but it tastes really horrible and has the texture of ground sawdust so if you go to the haritaki channel you might be better off buying the capsules. Please tell your mother to go to the website for Dr. Al Sears and see what he has to say about BUTTERFLY BLUE PEA TEA.. it's a blue flower and you put about 5 or 6 of them in boiled or almost boiled water and let it steep for at least 20 minutes sometimes.. I let it steep for a half hour ..it's a powerful BRAIN HEALER very good for all the NEUROLOGICAL stuff.. please go to an Indian or Pakistani groceries and get AMLA for your mother at has 30 TIMES more VITAMIN C than Citrus and they are proving more and more that large doses of Vitamin C are HEALING EVERYTHING that you can think of but it's very good for KEEPING the BRAIN AWAKE and alert and vitamin C has put her called DONOR CELLS and you can learn about that on the internet ... I HAD SEVERE MEMORY LOSS at one point and it was so bad I would have ended up homeless if it wasn't for my son. please look at the ACETYLCHOLINE we used to take it years ago in the form of choline chloride but then we heard they took it off the market but I think you can get it in powder form now please do your research on this.. Also if your mother is able to bend her knees pretty good I highly recommend doing what's called SUPER BRAIN YOGA but it's not really like twisting yourself in a pretzel it's basically doing squats a certain way and that helped me especially once I was doing sets of reps several times a day please see the video called superbrain yoga the one that is a clip from a newscast and is about 4 minutes 18 seconds long as they're using it to heal every kind of neurological problem out there from early Alzheimer's to add hyperactive even dyslexia. I also had mild brain damage and post concussive syndrome a long time ago and that gave me some memory loss and turned my life upside down ..it was the choline chloride that made a massive difference and actually got rid of the scar tissue on my brain in a short amount of time from when I had had a car accident and a bad concussion. I spend a good bit of time looking at things that help heal the brain.. please keep your mom away from those antidepressants that are called SSRI inhibitorsbecause those eventually destroy the memory too... that's how I ended up with the severe memory loss and I regret that I didn't jump in on that class action lawsuit against Lexapro when I had the chance but the reason I didn't is because I already had a prior history of some memory problems from the post concussive syndrome more than 20 years earlier and I did not want to have to deal with lawyers giving me a hard time about that but the memory loss from the Lexapro was so bad it made me dysfunctional and if you told me the name of a song and a band and a look it up on KZbin , as soon as you told me I would not be able to remember it ..it was so severe I could not remember how to reboot a computer.. the irony is that when Lexapro first came out my neurologist ask me if I still feel like I get traffic jams in my brain or gridlock where I can't think if I get too much information coming in and I said yes and he said I think this will help you... I had planned to be on Lexapro only for 1/2 year but it is highly addictive and it's almost impossible to get off of it because the side effects are so bad some people commit suicide from it.. it will deplete every last drop of serotonin in your brain and the big Pharma companies don't want you to know this and it will totally destroy your memory I was on it for 5 years and I still am not 100% there yet with my memory problems

Zopidem is nothing new and nothing special. It's been on the market as a sleeping pill for plenty of years and has the reputation of a very addictive and unhealthy drug. Also because of the primary effect of the drug, the patient is far away from being really mentally concious, but more like a zombie. The status she got in this video is the best you can expect after taking this pill, even from a healthy person. In the end it"s just the vendors searching for new markets and abusing humans as guinea pigs, in the hope for keeping selling this stuff. That's how medical research is working nowadays and not vice versa.

ElMariachi i wouldn't consider it abuse on humans since it seems to take place in the UK. Aka, well developed countries where ethics exist. The family seemed willing to take this risk and seemed extremely haopy to do so. Regardless of the outcomes at the moment, there are always first steps that need to be taken. And even though what you say is true, to be able to accomplish something like this particular event is a step in the right direction and hopefully for the future theyll develop something better.

To all the haters saying you cant eat in a coma, there is not one universal form of coma. There are thousands of different types. In fact almost every one is different. So relax, enjoy the video, and stop being conspiratorial about everything. Haters, will hate though. Actually Highwalker said it better than I ever could have so I will quote him/her: "Not fake. Comas are a very complicated phenomenon, and don't always put you in a complete vegetative state. Your eyes may still move about, blink, and you might even keep some small amount of motor functions. Some people in comas are even fully conscious, able to respond with blinks or small twitches. Remember kids, movies are not always indicative to how real life functions."

@MikeySkywalker

@@Maybee60 Pretty sure that isn't what I said. I was saying we live in an age where everyone thinks they are an expert on everything. My point being that people hate just to hate, or because they draw conclusions based on very little info. I guess I just think it would be nice if people actually cared about facts, and did not render judgement based on nothing. I.E. In this video you cannot possibly render a judgement, at least a sound one, based on what is provided here. You definitely cannot declare it is fake, or real for that matter. Long story short, I am sick of cynicism for the sake of cynicism.

Her body will need to work on building strength after lying in bed for too long. She will need support sitting up when she is awake out of the coma. Do they give her solid organic foods and making sure nothing else is affecting her or give her safe supplements some how for the brain. Hopefully she has dreams to stimulate the mind or maybe get her to listen to other sounds. It depends how she ended up in a coma too and it's possible to reverse it giving her the right stuff for her.

Sometimes the body puts us into comas to protect us, or to let us heal. But sometimes comas occur for no more reason than why SIDS happens, and other similar illnesses. All we can do is care for the ones who fall down, so that we can watch them get back up again.

That sounds like the sleep walking condition. People can walk, but aren't aware when others are near them. I'm told that one must never try to wake up a sleepwalker, for it can cause a shock when that person is walking on the roof, at risk of falling. Or when on the stairs, at risk from falling down breaking a leg or an arm. I think I would gently hold such a person by the arm and steer it away from danger, leading it back to bed. Silently, with inner giggles, I think. For it's unnerving and funny at the same time.

Terri’s parents tried all they could to get custody back from the husband .... but to no avail. The husband called all the shots, even refused her medical treatment for painful bladder infections while in coma, took away tv and radio, restricted visits even from her parents. He met a woman and children with her....but still would not give her to her family for care. He stuck her in a sterile medical facility and was afraid she would wake up and tell what really happened the night she ‘fell’ into coma. It’s one of the most heartbreaking stories ever.
