I’ve lived in the LA all of my childhood and never knew why the Miracle Mile was named such. I hope to learn something. Going through the Tarpits brings me back to when I worked in the area and eat my sack lunch there. There were rabbits hopping around, so I’d bring something for them.

Aww thank you! I hope you make it to LA sometime. I have to say, the great thing about LA is that I have felt accepted everywhere I go. I don't know if one neighborhood is "safer" than another but West Hollywood is usually the way to go.

Fun video. I think I saw Miracle Mile when it came out. The Pan Pacific part jogged my memory. Of course a better remake of the pylons is in Disneyland/California adventure. Also, there’s a copy of Park La Brea in SF, slightly smaller, and as such the second largest single owner residential complex west of the Mississippi river, after P LaB.
