As a doctor practising for the past twenty years i would like to assure you this is not new. It is not as miraculous or as simple as just one vitamin -other selected non fat soluble vitamins are imperative as well as ckd diet which many doctors do not focus on sadly.. Medicine is a bit more complex esp treating CKD.
@leen1q846 ай бұрын
@@girsharma2076 which other vitamins & what kind of diet would you recommend?
@girsharma20766 ай бұрын
@@leen1q84 According to Kidney specialist sites and please do refer to them and confer with your own doctor as this is not medical advise but information only, there are thirteen essential vitamins and some only if your blood levels dictate so like Vit D which is also determined by calcium and parathyroid levels so as to avoid toxicity.Certain vitamins should not be recommended such as Vit A unless needed then a smal dose700-900microgram. Vit E can cause clotting so avoid intake as a supplement. Then the water soluble and required like thiamine again smaller dose of 1.5mg/day, Vit B2-1.8mg, Vit B12-about 2-3 microgram/day, mg and with that FA-1.0mg/day, Vit B6-5mg/day,Niacin-14-20 mg/day, Vit C-60-100mg/day,Pantohenic 5mg/day and Biotin 30-100 microgram. It is difficult to find all of this sold as multivitamins for CKD patients but Kidneyhood.org do something called microtrix but you would have to buy it with a loe protein supplement called albutrix and this is expensive. I did research some names if you search for multivitamins for ckd. Regarding diet it is imperative to stick to a low sodium, low phosphorous, low potassium, low protein diet. There are lists of such diets out there. limiting fluids is also imperative to prevent excess swelling and raised BP and other heart complications etc etc

I can say this, I deeply appreciate a detailed study such as this, having had major issues with one kidney, caused by a large kidney stone, which on 1st attempt, a surgeon failed to remove it, & caused major damage to the ureter & urethra, resulting in sepsis, which required 2 x teturns to hospital to get the sepsis under control. As an older man in my mid 70's, it is challenging. After 2 years they brought me back in to (a different hospital) & made another attempt at removing the stone, succeeding this time, but leaving residue, which is now starting to cause trouble again. I've listened to many specialists in that time, but none as detailed as this. Excellent 👍😊

Then I went carnavore to finally lose weight and help my arthritis. After 10 months on a carn carnivore dit I had lost 105 lbs, was off all high blood pressure meds, cholesterol was 107! arthritis was absolutely gone, and my kidney number was 65.
