I never viewed him as a simpleton in the show, he was simply an honorable fool like Ned, but he was still very intelligent.
@sebastianramos6373 жыл бұрын
@@darthkenobi6726 my great grievance against him is the fact that he knelt to Daenerys without need for It. She had already allied with him against the others. Other example Is when he crossed the wall to capture a withewalker without asking reinforcements or horses. He was the northern King by Then. Or when he crossed the wall to "kill" or stop Mance Ryder by himself when his army attacked the wall. In the books he did It because he was ordered by someone who wanted him dead, either by Mance, or by the Nightwatch had he refused. It was not his Idea. From season 1 to 5, big or small his mistakes were justifiable, from Then on, the reasoning was dumber.

Jon is basically a man who started off as a mere bastard, someone who brought shame to House Stark and no one cared of, to have a life so much involved in prophecy by being The Prince that was Promised, the true son of both Stark and Targaryen bloodlines, the King of the North and the true heir of the Iron Throne. Being the literally meaning of A Song of Ice and Fire. And all he wanted was his little wildling redhead, his good boi wolf, his loved ones safe and a life away from the fighting that followed him everywhere he turned. Here's an actual fact about people who used swords, they would never toss their sheath/scabbard unless they thought they were going to die in battle.
@Kutomi15 ай бұрын
Well, that makes sense. Throwing it away would just mean it would be a pain in the ass having to look for it.
@MorgottofLeyendell4 ай бұрын
It would make more sense to say that they would only throw away their scabbard if they had to. If it's getting in the way a soldier wouldn't risk that distraction. They wouldn't intentionally throw away the scabbard unless absolutely necessary.
@arnostdvorak6251Ай бұрын
I disagree. I've worn a sword on my hip and I can tell you that the scabbard can get in the way of running and fighting. Of course it's not that bad, just moderately inconvenient but if you're right there in the thick of the fighting, like Jon is, you won't be putting that sword away until it's over, so you might as well not be bothered by the scabbard, maybe it will increase your chances of survival slightly. And if you live, you can always get a new scabbard.

When Jon's fighting that one White Walker at 2:41, they both look surprised when Jon blocks its sword swing, is there a particular reason for that?
@killer87957 жыл бұрын
The White Walkers ice made weapons break all common steel weapons and also common steel weapons dont even hurt the Walkers. So when the White Walker hit jons sword, he thought it would go right on through. As did jon. Valerian Steel is theorized to be made of dragon glass and regular steel. The only things Walkers are vulnerable to are dragon glass and fire. So a Valerian Steel sword is a weakness to the Walkers.
@halfknight23102 жыл бұрын
This is incredibly late. But it’s cause due to how the white walker’s blade is made from magic ice. That normally shatters any normal human weapon. But as john’s sword was made of valarien steel (forged and enchanted with magic), it could stop the white walker’s spear. The white walker likely never expected someone to be able block the spear, hence the shock.

Woah, damn, Gavin. If you didn't notice, at 2:26, the background twangy instrument is playing the actual GoT theme song. That's... really cool.

It really gets the sentiment of the character's making his difference into a great skill, talent positive thing the character can be proud of not ashamed. Love the sound.

This is one of my favorite songs, ever. Not just Game of Thrones songs, just all songs. I never get tired of hearing it. It just came up on my playlist which, of course, means I'm going to listen to it 5 times in a row. I wasn't sure if I had left a comment before (and apparently I hadn't, so it's long overdue) and I just wanted to say how awesome it is.

As a hunter and outdoors man I have heard the bears roar, the stags cry, the coyotes Yelp, and the cougars purr; but what I respect and admire more then anything is the howl of the wolf. Never was there a more majestic, Nobel, and honored beast.

I don't even watch the show, though I do follow some of the story closely thanks to many recap videos. And even then I feel that the songs you made convey and embody the stories and characters so well. For some reason, this one made me very emotional. I think it's how I feel the song is so "humble" in a way, which seems to fit Jon's character well, just like how Mother of Flame is much more "prideful," which also fits Daenerys, considering all the friggin' titles she has and how much she clings on her birthright. Anyway, I think this is my favorite GoT song you made so far, even though I really love them all.

This is fucking awesome. Jon has one of the more interesting storylines going from a brat that moans about being a bastard to a man worthy of being the lord commander and from there he became a king.
