Psalm 83 was true in the Old Covenant. However the Jews today refuse the New Covenant, so they are no longer under divine protection. It seems clear that you do not have love for Jews, which sadly means that you're "only a resounding gong or clanging cymbal", according to the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:1. Jesus said, "...I tell you, love your enemies..." (Matthew 5:44). If you consider Jews to be your enemies, you are commanded by the Lord to love them! If you refuse to love Jews, you are disobeying the Lord Jesus. You CANNOT be a follower of Christ AND disobey this simple, direct command. "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." - 1 John 4:8. Put another way, anyone who hates Jews (or anybody else) does not know the God who IS love! Paul debunked 'Replacement Theology' in his day... the false teaching that the Church has replaced the Jewish people as Israel. Study Romans ch. 9-11, where Paul wrote of his anguish over Israel & their unbelief, and his heart's desire for their salvation. Chapters 9 & 10 lay the foundation, the intermediate context, for ch. 11... providing clear proof that when Paul talks about 'Israel' in Romans, esp. in these 3 chapters, he's talking about the Jewish people. Now let's take a closer look at Romans ch. 11. In verses 1-2, Paul pointedly asked, then emphatically answered: "Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew." Then commenting on vv. 2-4 about Elijah's appeal to God against Israel & God's response about the 7,000 that God had reserved for himself, Paul says in v.5, "So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace." In v. 6, he then contrasts 'grace' & 'works'. In vv. 7-10, Paul describes how Israel stumbled & fell. He then said in v. 11a, "Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!" In vv. 11b-12, he then gives the reason why God allowed Israel to fall: to save us, Gentiles & then bring greater riches when the Jews get saved! Next, Paul issues a very stern warning to us, Gentile believers, in vv. 13-24. He specifically warns Gentile believers NOT to boast over Jewish non-believers, and warns in v. 21, "For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either." Verses 23-24 say that if Jews repent, they'll be grafted in again as natural branches into their own olive tree! Next, vv. 25-32 talks about God's love for the Jewish people AND his covenant promise to save ALL Israel in vv. 26-27: "and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."" [This covenant promise has yet to be fulfilled, but make no mistake, it WILL be fulfilled because God is a PROMISE-KEEPER!!!] Paul then breaks out into a doxology of praise to the Lord in vv. 33-36 to close out this chapter. God loves the Jews, and wants you to love them too. So friend, please... repent of your hatred of Jews! Hatred of ANY people, especially Jews, comes from Satan! God is LOVE... he hates SIN but loves the SINNER! And, friend, he loves YOU!!!
