why do other Christians avoid the fact that we have got apostles in the latter day? how, can I, dear friends, set a better example of this to my brethren of other denominations? finally, how are you doing this evening time?

I know that this comment is around 2 years old but I would just like to say something. The reason why we don’t accept the individuals that you call apostles is because for one, the meaning of the word apostle, the twelve after seeing the resurrected Christ before he ascended to heaven. Also, there is sufficient evidence that we don’t need any apostles in our day and age, or prophets for that matter. Because they are of the time of old. Jesus was the Final Prophet. He was simultaneously Prophet, Priest and King of Kings. The last priest after the order of Melchizedek, who gave the new priesthood, the priesthood of all believers in Christ. And thus we don’t need apostles, because they were only for the beginning of the church. I just wanted you to know what the majority of us think. Colby Hicks there were prophets after Christ had died too...there is real Authority within the church of Jesus Christ. It is mentioned many times in the Bible. There is an absolute need for a prophet and apostles. The very idea that you can go online and look up different denominations of Christian churches is a testimony of a falling away and of a need of a prophet.
