I was raised a Baptist. I searched the New Testament as a teenager and often had questions such as "Is my pastor a prophet? If not, why aren't there prophets today like Moses and Abraham? Why aren't there 12 Apostles anymore? Why aren't there gifts and miracles like there were in the New Testament?" Now I know why. Now I know that so much was lost but has been found, and I am privileged beyond my wildest imagination to be a part of Christ's Church just as I read about in the Bible. I have been a member for over 4 years and I pray God's love and truth will always fill my heart so that I will never fall away from the Church. I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus lives and that His Church is on earth again. I know Joseph Smith was Jesus' chosen servant to bring it all to pass. God and Christ are in this work, and I know we need to be engaged in it because we will ALL see Them soon. For these blessings, I pray God be thanked and praised forever in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. #HearHim

I was trained to be a Baptist Pastor, but I had so many questions that I was tossed out of the Seminary. Those unanswered questions led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I was joyfully baptized in 1975. It has been a wonderful trip ever since serving the Lord in any way that I can.

I read the Book of Mormon during the year when I was 15. As rebellious teen, I found during that year that the times I read and prayed, good spiritual things happened. By the time I finished, I knew for my self that Joseph Smith had seen and spoke to God and His Son Jesus Christ. What I discovered that year I can never deny, even through more rebellious times in my life.

When they played the Oct. 2000 Hosanna recording followed by the Spirit of God, I couldn't help but be overcome by a flood of emotions. Seeing the Spirit touch the members of the tabernacle choir and watching all the members rise was such a moving moment. I was only a young youth back then and did not recall this happen. Watching it today made it feel like the past became present today, transcending time and finite boundaries. Such a surreal experience that I will remember forever.

I’ve had those moments. But, I’ve also taken the phone call years later, from the same, telling he they’ve been trying to reach me, and then they report that at a low point in their life they remembered my testimony, invited the missionaries in when they knocked, abs that they are now a baptized member of the Church. It’s a great redemption moment for us all, knowing that after all the stupidity we have done in the sight of others throughout our lives, and how many we may have convinced that the Gospel isn’t true by our mistakes... to help bring one into the Church may make all those fumblings prior to, insignificant to the winning play in this rivalry against the adversary. Point is, don’t dwell on it too much, band don’t let those fingers of scorn slow you down! ONWARD, EVER ONWARD!

I’m so thankful to have heard this proclamation this morning!!!! My dad told me and my younger siblings after the session that he had the impression that this proclamation will bring many people to the gospel and us kids should start memorizing!!! I know that this church is true and it is such an amazing time to be part of Zion’s Youth Battalion!! I know that Joseph Smith is the true prophet of the Restoration and that he was led by divine design to translate the Book of Mormon. I love the Book of Mormon!!! A testimony of the divinity of the counsel to participate in the Hosanna shout. I live is Australia and the time difference makes it impossible to sync with the rest of the world. Being a student and a busy mum I do my studies at night and studied into the night. I retired to bed close to 12am Monday here and about an hour or less I was awake and I felt like I have had a full night sleep. I wondered to my self why I couldn't sleep and was that awake. I was been pressed upon to watch the conference but I pushed it away, saying to myself 'I will watch it in the morning I need my rest to tackle the busy task of the day' but the promptings never went away. My daughter joined the waking me up so I got up to put her to bed again. There, the burning desire increased and I finally went for my phone to watch the Sunday session live. As I put the internet on, a friend from Ghana sent me the requirements for the session and shortly after my neighbour send a message about the shout. I thought to my self that its late and I can't get the requirement. But ideas popped in my head. As I watched the conference, I got a piece of white cloth and made a handkerchief out of it and in no time I was all set and ready to join the multitude around the world regardless of time and space in the shout. I have been humble to be called from my sleep to do this historic and memorable shout. I will store my inspired handkerchief as a reminder for my generation. I have not been forgotten!!

Ive been to every spot that the restoration of the Church events taken place: The First Vision, Book of Mormon publishing site, organization of the Priesthood, where the church of Christ was organized, Hill Cumorah, Kirtland, Missouri, Nauvoo, Carthage and Salt Lake City all confirmed our strong testimony that these things has happened. So wonderful we are going through the Doctrine and Covenants, Church History again! It's indeed true!
