Mirajane is an S- Class for a reason. When Lisanna died, she blamed herself and lost all her will to fight. This resulted in the regression of her power, and also an actual flip on her demeanor. She didn't grow weak. She just wasn't able to tap into her power. After this episode, she was able to continue using her powers, so brace yourselves lol.

regression of power probably isnt the right way to put it i agree with the guy on the right(i dont know their names first video because mira reveal is great) its probably a mental block(self sealed her power) because of the self blame but the rest of what you said i agree with

This is definitely my favorite Mirajane battle, even in future Arcs. Nobody expected Mira to reawaken her power after the accident that happened years before (her power was dormant due to the trauma), but my favorite battles in Fairy Tail are the ones involving Juvia! 🥰

Mira's greatest feat ironically is her ability to actually connect people of the guild and to their hearts. It's not just her magic. So yeah, the Strauss siblings specializes transformation magic called Takeover which takes the form of the body and then uses their magic. Mirajane - Demons, she calls both her magic and her base form Satan Soul. But she has other forms too. Elfman - Mythical Beasts. Lisanna - Animals. These magic uses a lot of magic tho. Cause aside from maintaining the form they use, they also had to hold control or else the form they took over can control the user instead. AND they use magic energy to use the forms abilities. So it's not really a surprise that Mira is on par with Erza before. They kinda balance each other. Like Erza uses more of Physical while Mirajane uses Magic.

The 3 Strauss Siblings in order of age; Mirajane - Satan Soul (Takeover magic against demons) Elfman - Beast Soul (Takeover magic against beast type monsters) Lisanna - Animal Soul (Takeover magic against animals) Looking at their kits, Lisanna has the most Takeover variety/options with Mirajane the least since there's not much demons/demonic being she can use Takeover on though in exchange her targets are usually very strong compared to her siblings' own options.

Mira's demon transformation is incredibly strong, but the major flaw is the form really drains her magic power fast. In most of her fights, she needs to end it quickly since her stamina is limited. Mira and Erza are rivals as the strongest women in Fairy Tail. Erza's fights usually are drawn out longer, and she cycles through multiple weapons and armour in fights. Erza has more stamina while Mira has more short burst power. Mira usually stays out of fights because of stamina issue. She only fights as a last resort.

Right? I agree. She got insanely nerfed after this. During here she was able to dish out so many powerful attacks and fight with extreme speed. But later on, say in the Tenrou Island Arc (I'm not going to mention the "Out of Magic Power" excuse Mashima gives her every time) or Tartaros Arc, she was shown to be much weaker. And bear in mind, she hadn't used her magic for over 2 years against Freed. If this was without 2 years of magic usage, how did she get worse after continuing to practice with it?

I just started following you guys just so you can see her finally use her powers! Yes her power is take over soul:Satan soul meaning like Elfman when she comes in contact with demons and gets them weak enough she can absorb them inside of her and gains their powers and forms. Sort of like erza requip. You’ll see more of her but not as much as you want. But Mira fights will always get you excited

Yeah Mira couldn’t transform because of the trauma of Lissanna’s death. She became like her sister when she died even though she was a delinquent before. She was so blocked that nobody could sense any magic from her at all and they all thought she couldn’t use magic anymore

Take over Magic have a lot of similarities with requip magic. I wish they have shown a lot of feats of this magic within the series more tho, instead of patronizing some "favorite" characters such as Erza. Not exactly the soul of Satan.😂Her magic is called Satan Soul, but her base form is also called Satan Soul. It's called that because Satan is obviously the most prominent known example of a demon, I'd assume.
