Agreed, Carrie was stupid and not to mention, a huge pick me. Of course she wouldn’t understand why Charlotte got the apartment. Charlotte was an extremely successful art curator and dealer prior to marriage. She gave up her career to devote time to upkeeping her and Trey’s home as well as was willing to sacrifice her time and energy into bearing his children. That deserves compensation. But Carrie was a bird who constantly chased after emotionally unavailable men who didn’t value her as a homemaker and equal so she wouldn’t ever really experience that level of commitment. Charlotte should’ve never given her the money.
