Another fabulous video You have really changed my mind set on car detailing. I no longer go for “absolute perfection”. I love the on screen relationship with you and your wife and your whole ethos and approach to detailing. I’m only a driveway detailed but really enjoy the process. I’m considering buying the Batoca da, 2 questions….. how long do the batteries take to charge ? and then roughly how long do they last when in use ? Thank you in advance from 🇬🇧 UK
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks. So it’s hard to tell exactly how long the battery lasts in minutes. We usually get about 3 or so panels before we need to switch out, and that’s doing our Enhancement. So maybe about 30-40 minutes. Our section passes are usually about 1-2 minutes. It takes about 45+ min to charge.

Congrats on all your success. I've learned a great deal from you and your wife and have really enjoyed your videos. Question; why use a water spot remover if you're going to polish and ceramic coat a vehicle? Wouldn't a fine cut polish be enough to remove those spots if a spray solution can do it with such ease? Share your expertise on the matter when you get a moment. Thanks again!
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks. Great question. We have found that just polishing alone doesn’t remove some of the water spots. Sometimes it takes longer to polish them out. So now we use a chemical to remove the waterspots first and then polish and it’s much faster and we get better results.

Hi. Yeah we love these polishers. Typically when doing enhancements we can get about 3-4 panels before we need to switch out batteries. It’s hard to tell time wise though. That’s why go by how many panels. 😎👍🏼

Phil, if you were doing a full correction, what would you have done for this paint? More passes with the Koch Chemie Fine Cut and orange pad, or would you have used a heavier cutting polish/compound? If so which one? Also, have you tried the LC HDO or CCS pads with your 12mm cordless polishers? if so, do you notice any difference in those compared to the LC flat pads?
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. If we were doing a correction yes we would most likely use a microfiber disc and maybe KC Heavy cut. Sometimes fine cut works great on the MF disc also. I have used the HDO, they work great also and the ccs pads are pretty much exactly like the flat pads to me. We just prefer the regular flat pads.
@mutatedgenome2 жыл бұрын
@@MirandaDetailing Do you prefer LC MF pads over the ones made by Megs or Rupes or are they mostly the same?

Good question. The Megs and Rupes ones are also great. We have found the LC ones to be the most affordable and effective pads we have used.

Have you ever cleaned a car with mold on the interior / Have you ever refused a job ? Also do you own a ozone machine or odor treatment? Thanks
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. We used to try to detail mold interiors until I took some classes on mold remediation. How we refuse them. Way to dangerous and risky. Even though some detailers can clean the surfaces, the mold is everywhere in places where you can’t get unless you take the carpets and seats out completely. We do have an ozone machine but only for minor odors and that’s it. But we don’t guarantee odor removal or anything.

@@MirandaDetailing how often have you used it is it effective ? Looking into getting one but just not sure is there any other odor bomb spray thing you use ?
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
We don’t use any odor bombs sprays. We find they put too much of a scent into the vehicle and our customers don’t like that. We use the ozone for some odors but not all the time. We don’t offer odor removal anyway, we refer customers to another local interior restoration company that does that.
