@@MiriamMaulana I'm so happy... I'm still proud of myself... I'm proud of us. I'm so thankful that you took the time to make the video. All these years I would ask and folks didn't want to be bother. So many times my hair broke off because of being matted while I save money to get it done. NEVER again. I said I will watch and I will get this TODAY (yesterday) before I lay down to rest my hair will be in cornrows. It is DONE. 7 cornrows and I will get better. If I come across anyone that needs help O will definitely refer them to your video.This is our success. Peace and

This video seems to be the most detailed angles and up close to really slow how the fingers are moving that I've found on this platform. And you are super encouraging ☺️ Makes me wanna give it a try to my own head . I'm tired of asking people to do my hair

This is cool, I thought all girls knew how to braid automatically. I never was taught I always just knew how sine I was like 6. lol hopefully everyone gets it.. I couldn’t imagine having to depend on someone else to do my hair. I’m 22 and I’m so used to doing my own hair it feels so weird when someone else even touch it..

Consider yourself BLESSED!! We All have gifts- different but gifted! It seems so simple as I watch others🤣! When I bread my own hair it appears as underhanded braids. No one would ever try to teach me as a child because I am left handed. So as long as there are “folks like me, will always provide “branders “ with jobs🥰🙏🏾🎉🎉!!

I've checked a few tutorials today and your explanation is the best one thus far. '' Always pick up with the one finger and even of you inter change by mistake, same principle applies: always pick up with the one finger. It works, it's basic and not complicated at all. Grazie bella 👍

Maybe if you take a video from behind when you finish off your cornrow to show how you pick hair, it would be easy to understand how to actually pick hair. Also, consider slow motion. Repeating yourself is ok, but slow-mo would work too.

Thanks for this Miriam. Quick question, if you intend on attempting a crochet hairstyle, using cornrows, should you make the braids a little loose so as not pull at your hair when you do the style? Regards.
@MiriamMaulana5 жыл бұрын
Silindile Nkosi hey love, thank you for watching. So the idea is to keep the cornrows comfortable enough to allow the crochet needle in without feeling pain. You just need to make sure you don’t have too much tension on your cornrows and that you don’t force the crochet needle through. I hope I’ve answered your question ?
